Jonathan Allen has been a pretty good pick.
Ryan Kerrigan was a great pick with 86 career sacks.
Da'Ron Payne looks like he's going to pan out.
Vernon Davis has been a very good free agent signing for them.
D'Angelo Hall played with them for almost a decade after signing with them as a free agent.

That's 5 off the top of my head.

I think Washington would give up a #1. They have probably seen Tomlin (and Colbert's) draft record. He'd take that top 3 pick and use it on a 5''4 DB that runs a 6.3 40' time. It would save the team the embarrassment if such a lousy pick.

Who actually pulls the trigger on that trade? It has to be Art, right? This isn't a decision Colbert can make?

Very well probably. I just really like the guy.

More talent in Pittsburgh than he ever had in Tennessee too.

Tomlin’s contract is up after this season right? I presume they wrote some first right of refusal clause into the contract. If it happens before the end of the season I would imagine the owner has to initiate it but I would be surprised either team would be that brash

The one's who want to get rid of Tomlin ( I'm one ) Have the question repeatedly asked, " By Whom " ? Then nitpick the answers...Here is mine...

Idk........But I am quite certain there is person somewhere, In this country that could Coach the Steelers... I'm guessing there was was not even one person on this board who had any idea who Tomlin even was...I would reckon to say he is not irreplaceable...

Tomlin came in as an unknown and did really well, for a long time but...His time has passed...Sloppy, inconsistent, Clock management, never prepared to start a game, challenges, lockeroom, playing down to inferior competition over and over recently...Needs to go...

It was a good ride but, need a new voice and direction

Who knows what will happen or what's even possible as far as getting rid of Tomlin. I am so over this under achieving bumbling fool that I'm losing interest in steelers football. Same thing has happened with the TN Vols here in Knoxville. I feel myself not giving a crap and becoming a casual fan at best. I know I can't be the only one. Seems like that isn't good for business if you are a billionaire owner intent on making $$$. If Rooney doesn't do something about Tomlin, it sure seems like his pocketbook will feel the pinch. But hey, what do I know other than I'm not spending any coin on anything steelers related.

Doesn't Washington want to get rid of Snyder? (City & fans)

Which direction has Oakland gone since trading Gruden?

I think Tomlin is stale myself and am ready for a change, but wow. New union contract coming up, Colbert year to year, trading draft picks, wow.

The Steelers would hire someone young and unproven most likely.

He is NOT a top 5 coach. Where do you people come up with this crap. He is a below average coach who made his way in the same way George Seifert did in his stay in San fransisco.

I would trade Tomlin in a second after this season and get that first and go after Lincoln Riley ASAP.

Steelers need someone who knows how to prepare their team game in and game out. Make smart decisions when YOU WIN the ****ing coin toss.

Tomlin is the most overrated coach in all of sports. I think I should know, I've seen every game he has coached. Every single one.

Applying similar logic to the Pirates would involve keeping the fans and getting a new team (i.e. owner). :dancing:

Ok back on topic...IF, We were to " trade " Tomlin for Washington's 1st...We couy realistically get a top 5, 3, hell even 1st overall pick...So in a weird way we would receive Minkha and the No.1 overall pick for Tomlin... I'll take it
