    Rather than "Sadness", I'd like to call it the Silver Lining. Or Gold Lining. Or Black Lining. Or Yellow Lining. OK maybe I'm color blind after all. The column that's missing (obviously) is what each team did after those turnovers. The rankings would bound to change with that filter/sort.

    Too bad we didn't have this defense the last two years.

    I don't think the defense is a large reason why the steelers are 1-4.

    Like yesterday, 3 and out ,to start, give them the ball at the 40, they get an easy 3 with Tucker.

    Get the ball back, holding on a kick return, run the stupid wildcat, Samuels makes a dumb decision to throw, they get the ball at the 12.

    Some more questionable calls on the defense, then they get 7.

    We are down 10-0 in a blink. Not a lot of that is on the defense. That's on offense and special teams.

    We have started games offensively utter terribly, to start games this season, and every time it results in a loss at the end, when games are winnable.

    The defense has stabilized with the addition of Minkah. We dont seem to get beat deep since he has joined.

    Also, he probably deserves his own appreciation thread, but I love the work Steven Nelson has done since he got here . Having a great year.

    Hilton continuing to make splash plays.

    Where we are hurting is receivers getting in behind our LBs. Our defense hasn't been getting exploited since Minkah joined, however, we seem unable to get off the field sometimes when we really need to.
