Yanno the kid did pretty good. He slung the ball around pretty good. He had one bad pass that was picked and given back because of a penalty but damn he played good ball for an undrafted free agent QB! Liked his moxy out there and he was fearless in throwing the ball. Now if we just had a coach that take all that talent on D and turn it into something how great would that be?

Hodges did a solid job. He could have won the game for us if not for a fumble. I really liked his ability to run and sling the ball.

With the team we have we need a mobile QB to take the pressure off the running game with Conner and lack of a proven #1 receiver. I think that is why we are trying to use the Wildcat.

I think we will experience many of the same issues from this season when Ben returns next year, if talent doesn't change. We just don't have the offensive weapons we had in the past to make other teams struggle with their game plan.

Ben is mangled bro. An a surgery like that at his age is way more serious than we want to believe. It’s a wrap for Ben

The kid came in and wasn't phased. Did a nice job under the circumstances. Our # 1 for a bit.

Silverback was also undrafted, at this point, Duck is a professional football player. How he made it to the league is moot. Either he is good enough to help this team win games or he shouldn't be on the roster. IMHO he played well enough. Got the team the lead in the 4th quarter. Completed a pass in overtime that could've given the team a first down. The failure of the defense to stop Baltimore from gaining yards during the last overtime possession (they gave up 6 yards), JuJu's failure to secure the ball, and the defense's failure to hold Baltimore to no points at the end of regulation should not diminish his play. He led the team on scoring drives and did not turn the ball over. For any non-starting QB, that's pretty much what you want them to do. Move the ball down the field and not give it away.

Yeah, I was really happy with what I saw from him. I thought he came in and played liked he'd done it before. My wife was amazed that he looked so calm and collected for his first game, especially the way things happened for him to go in.

I was definitely impressed by what I saw. Found it strange that they opened it up and let him sling the ball more than Mason.

exactly why you take the ball in overtime, get the extra possession in a ten minute period. he was playing well.

LOL I like how you term the defense giving up just 6 yards off the turn-over a failure, after they just pulled a 3 and out to get the ball back for the offense.

I thought he played good. To me though his delivery was off. His passes look easily interceptible.

Well he’s more than likely our starter next week. Give Tomlin and co a week and they will turn him into coward who cant complete a pass beyond the LOS. Bank on it , we will go ultra conservative until we are down by 2 or 3 TD’s before we ask him to throw the ball.

It's tough to say what the deal is with Rudolph at this point, though I certainly wouldn't be surprised to see him miss a game with the concussion.

Hodges did throw some bad balls. One was an interception wiped out by a defensive holding call. The other was the deep ball. Johnson probably saved an interception there by interfering with the cornerback. The third-down pass to Samuels before the last Boswell field goal seemed off, too, but it seemed like that one was tipped.

Then why did they let Dobbs go then? Obviously they had some faith.
