anyone ever experienced the alumni weekend?

well boys and girls mommas getting the itch to go back again. We originally were shooting for thanksgiving week leading up the game against the stains, however she's blowing me up about alumni weekend and going to see them vs the Rams.

My question is have any of yinz purchased the MVP package that includes game day tix? I found out the tix will be in the upper deck of the north endzone.

Would be a helluva experience as this will be the kids first time so attending all of the events would be awesome but not digging the seats.

Damn... Nobody?!?!?!?!?!?

 

I wish I had council for this dobbler but I got nadda. Typically they don't crap the bed when they have the Alumni at the games. It gets the fans fired up too so I say enjoy it for the experience it is.

 

The only thing I can give you advice on is the Upper Deck North End zone seats. My son and I went to the Cincy game last December and were 5 rows from the top dead center end zone. Had a great time but be sure to bring binoculars. Also, we got lucky with the Dec weather. Mid 50's and not single digits.

 

Yeah I'm just not digging those seats much less binoc'n it. We was there last year on alumni weekend for the melt down against the Chargers! Idk it's really up to the boss hahahahahaha she's still pissed I refused to go to the Bay Area a couple of weekends ago.

 

Those seats are bleacher style seats and they blow. Sat there once and never again.

 

Yeah I saw that... It's really a bang for buck kind of deal. Buy the package suffer the nose bleeds for the experience, or spend more for decent seats and forgo the Saturday experience?

Kids want the full shabang. I did say we'd check the exchange out the morning of and if some good shtuff pops up we can always pull the trigger if it's within means.
