IC Light?

Living in the Cleveland area people make fun of Iron City products but quite frankly I prefer IC Light to any of the other light beers and IC Light Mango is as good as any of the new "fruity" beers.

I was at a bar where I am considered family and they get IC Light just for me and a few others. The owners were poking fun at me for drinking it so a few hours later I challenged the grand-dad, son, and grand-son to a blind taste test with Bud Light, Miller Lite, and IC Light. None of them drink any of these beers regularly so they would not be able to recognize their favorite. They all chose IC Light as having more flavor!

Variety is the spice of life I have thousands of dollars worth of craft beer aging in fridges and cellars; I also drink what I call maintenance beer, IC Light is my favorite maintenance beer.

 

IC Light is probably my favorite light beer. Although that being said, I'm more of a bourbon guy than a beer drinker.
What's funny to me is that I like IC Light, but I can't stand the original Iron City

 

I have always drank a lot of beer throughout my life. Growing up an hour north of the Burgh in the late 60's early 70's where you could only buy beer by the case, you soon learned to drink the entire case or lose it. Twenty-five, thirty, years ago regular Iron City was the beer I drank but now I could never do it. In a bottle it still tastes good but in a can it is terrible!
