He couldn't be on the sidelines to support Rudolph and the team? Pouncey said he's still the captain so where you at??? Dude use to be a warrior and you are telling me he couldn't make it and be on the sidelines for the game? Thanks for everything but I really believe this dude is toxic. We lost games early because he wanted to force the ball to his friend Moncrief and Switz. Switz is only on the team because of him. Randy Sphincter is only the OC because Ben hunts/fishes with him or some ****. Dude is horrible.

He just had surgery and I'm sure a 5+ hr flight was probably frowned upon by the docs so soon.

I don't know man, I don't know what to expect anymore. I want answers from Ben too. I used to look up to Ben but now I just feel like im stuck in Steelers purgatory, like im figuratively locked in a bathroom stall with AV and Foster preventing me from leaving and... nevermind I just opened the door and both AV and foster just fell on their ass. Im fine and free.

on a serious note I agree with everything you said.

He should get the Albert Einstein brain surgery instead, so he can split the triple team coverage.

Ithought if you were on the IR you can't be on the sidelines

Actually one easy way to debunk this. Nick Foles is on the IR and I saw him on the sidlelines supporting Minshew.

Not T.J. surgery is the rumor but surgery is still required. Don’t know if he had it yet. He’s looking for a second opinion. IMO if it isn’t scheduled for this week he should of been there. It’s a real bad look otherwise.

I think he'll be on the sidelines at some point, but he is probably dealing with a lot of medical stuff right now. I mean there was a warrant for Boogie Cousins arrest and he "couldnt fly" due to his acl.

I know bad example, but kinda

I, too, thought that was a bad look for him. No surgery yet, rookie QB to mentor, and he is no where to be seen. I think I'd be happy if he called it quits right away and never showed up again. Time to move on.

AB going to the Patriots really ruined our season. Ben never seemed the same.

Mason isn't a rookie , you think Favre mentored Rodgers.

Ben is a combo of Bell and Brown. Egocentric is he. Not a team player.

I thought he was supposed to have his surgery this week, the only people complaining about him not being on the sideline is fans, I haven't heard any media bring it up.

This is the same dude that use to play thru a multitude of injuries. Ben is a lot of things but he isn't soft. He could have been there if he really wanted. He didn't want to.

Doesnt sound like Ben had any intention on mentoring Mason either........

In an NFL Network interview minutes after getting drafted, Rudolph told the channel that it wasn’t Roethlisberger’s “job to teach me anything.” The rookie called Roethlisberger “an unbelievable player and a good dude,” and he didn’t seem to mean any harm.

When the Fan hosts asked Roethlisberger if he felt any responsibility to take Rudolph “under your wing,” the veteran responded with a slight laugh:

“Well, I don’t think I’ll need to now that he’s said that he doesn’t need me. So if he asks me a question, I might have to just point to the playbook, you know.”
