Even if Tomlin was replaced, I wouldn't hire a 60 year old OL coach Munchak to replace him. Look at the Steelers last 2 HC hires both guys in their early thirties.

Calm down people. Wouldn't matter who is behind the center taking snaps if the o-line can't block anybody.

Even beyond the record, it was pretty unremarkable.

    That wasn't my point.
I'd take my chances with ______ ______ over Tomlin.

I don't care. I'm glad actually, I hate the Titans.
    Defending Munchak wasn't my point.
    Too late anyway, he's gone.

I'm not ready to give up on Rudolph yet. The interception was really bad, and a few too many throws were off target, but he was hurried virtually all day. Hard to tell watching on tv but it seemed no one was getting open... Either that or Mason was too afraid to let it go at times. I think this game showed that Ben is not calling as many plays as some think. It looked like the same playcalling as if Ben were in the game (lots of shotgun, not enough running, etc). He can definitely be better, but let's give him a few games before we declare him a total bust.

Yeah, I wasn't inferring that you were defending him. I just dont understand why anyone would want Munchak as the HC here or anywhere because he's proven he isn't a good HC.

I guess Belichick will never be a good head coach either, considering his time at the helm in Cleveland...

So now you want to compare Munchak and Belichick head coaching abilities? What's your angle here? I'm not getting your point.

I have no point. I was using your coaching math, expanding on it.

What would it take to pry Reich away from Irsay?

We have frauds as a HC, OC, & DC Our OL is way overated.
never could see how they got rated as high. I never see clean open holes for RB's to run through.
I never see WR's route's where they can to rub people off.
Coaches have to put players in a position to succeed. THEY ARE NOT.

They oline was really bad. Weird because when Ben is under center they seem to give him more time and play better then they did for Mason.

My guess is that they are more familiar with Ben back there. Don't know Mason's tendencies yet.

he still out up more points then Ben in 6 quarters of play between each. He gave us leads so don't blame the kid. Ben didn't give us a lead this season.

Had Ben played... Steelers wouldn't have even been in the game in the 4th quarter. This 49ers game was the best west coast performance the Steelers have had in years... @ San Diego in 2015 to be exact.

Just what has the titans done since munchak left there in 2013, they havent won 10 games in a season since he resigned, under malarkey and whisenhunt they had losing seasons and vrabel isnt going to do any better than these other 3 coaches did before him....

There are a lot of new, lesser experienced QBs around the league starting. We keep comparing Mason to Ben, but we should really compare Mason to the other QBs. Most of the other ones seem to be better. (Except for perhaps the Jets 3rd stringer). I mean, Daniel Jones replaces Manning and their offense is instantly better. The Jaguars backup looks solid. The Panthers backup looks solid. The Bills are 3-0 with their second year QB.
