    There's specific spaces set aside where teams are ALLOWED to video tape. Again, both Belichick and McD only broke the rules when they videotaped outside the allowed area.

    Specifically they tried to get tape from the end zone. I guess it's a better angle or something. That's what they both got punished for. If they'd stayed along the sidelines it wouldn't have been a problem.

    Heck, THE MEDIA tapes practices from the sidelines. Ever seen those practice montages on ESPN? Ever wonder where that footage comes from?

    EDIT: My guess is that the problem with filming from the end zone is that it makes it way too easy to steal signals if you're filming from the endzone behind the offensive formation.
