as long as conner or whoever is back there can beat off many defenders then we should be good.

If nothing else, there's the threat of a QB scrambling for a long play!

Definitely a Mason fan. Hoping he has a great game tomorrow, along with the rest of the team. Go Steelers!!!

Realistically what else is he going to say?

Reporter- "Mason, how do you feel about starting against San Fran?"

    Mason- "I'm scared sh*tless man"

I hope he lights it up the rest of the season. The defense is still the achilles heal.

I get that. But Rudolph is something different. There is something in his eyes. I remember thinking it after an interview when he was drafted. His demeanor and words were just so confident, almost cocky. He reminds me a lot of a young Ben in the way he carries himself.

A young Ben you say?! Interesting indeed. Mason's demeanor reminds me more of Phillip Rivers when he was younger than Ben's.

Shouldnt they just run past them instead of beating them off?

Well at Woodstock in 1969 CSNY said just that and went on to perform an amazing show.

Correction. It is not the defense. It is Keith Butler. He is the issue here. Get a real Defensive Coordinator and watch the results change.

Colbert referred to the team last year as Ben and a bunch of kids, so I'm Hopelessly Hoping that Ben Taught The Children Well. We don't want Deja Vu of the Mark Malone years.

I wish he'd say something like I feel pretty good as long as my defense doesn't blow a** again

He doesn’t seem to play scared. Which is good, playing with confidence, smarts, and ability makes you great .

My thought is he would do a lot better if he had the horses Ben had when he took over the Steelers.
