There never was any new information that supported the idea that the Steelers made a mistake.

He’s has to be confident about it because it’s vital to his argument that the Steelers got screwed on the AB trade and that they should’ve keep him.

Props to Tomlin, he was able to get 9 years out of AB, New England and Oakland couldn't even get one season.

He got hall of fame level play out of Brown for years with only minor issues until 2018. Based on what we’re seeing now, that’s pretty impressive.

I think T.O. is a far better parallel and he's surpassed him baggage wise. But someone will pick him up because he's still got a lot of production to offer.

Packers, Cowboys, or maybe Seattle. Somewhere where he could be the missing piece from a complete team. Or some stupid team like the Jets.

Our best years when we lost to Manning and the Bronco's when AB was out of postseason and still almost won, but our best chance at #7 was against the Jags and still can't believe we lost to that team and let Bortals run a score up on our defense like that.

Front office personnel lie to the public all the time. They certainly covered for Brown’s antics long enough. What we know is Colbert made that claim at a time when he was taking heat for trading Brown. If they really love Bush’s ability as much as they say, then yes, they would have still made the trade.

Yes, there was. When he signed with the Patriots it made the deal look worse. That is why I was accused of moving the goalposts for incorporating it into my argument.

Lol. You start with saying they are liars and end with trusting what they said.

It made the deal look worse to you because you started out with the premise that it was a bad deal and made it pretty darn clear that nothing was going to move you from that position. All you are doing now is spinning to try to save face. Just admit you were wrong. It isn't hard to do. And btw, I had basically no skin in this but your absurd refusal to budge when you were clearly wrong is just silly.

No there wasn’t. To you there was but to 99.9% of everyone else there wasn’t.

Getting rid of AB was the right thing to do regardless of what happened after.

FWIW the XFL sent out a tweet saying they aren't interested in AB.

Tomlin is the coach. He gets the praise when warranted, and he gets the blame...pretty much all the time.:sneak:

There wasn't a problem until a couple years ago. We would have known if there was. Tomlin can't control what AB and others make public via social media (that has been proven the last couple seasons). Obviously.

    This year? Not a chance.

He got himself thrown off 3 teams in 4 months. Say that out loud a few times, that's just crazy.

If he plays for a vet minimum, maybe. Thats the only way a team will risk it but AB playing for a vet minimum is about as likely as him speaking in complete sentences.

There's also the possibility he finds himself suspended for the year.

I think if a playoff type team has injury at the position, they might sign him later in the season. The Saints could use him, they have Michael Thomas and not much else at WR.

Pretty sad that my main form of NFL entertainment at this point is googling AB. Not sure what’s more pathetic the Steelers after 2 weeks or this idiots behavior.
