too much hating on the drama queen lol. List your favorite moments with the big slugger. Love him or hate him we have 2 more because of him.

    Here’s my top 3

    1. Shoestring tackle on colts defender in 2005 division game.

    2. 6th trophy td pass between 3 defenders

    3. Game winning td pass vs packers as time expired

Telling Bettis to play one more year, and Roethlisberger would get him to the Super Bowl.

The win over the Cowboys his rookie year. I felt that day like we had something special at quarterback. I think the game was in Dallas too.

That time his nose was broken and had to be snapped back in place so he could go back out and play.

This ain`t gonna go over well, with all the hate against AB, right now,
But trusting Antonio Brown, to get a touchdown, on the last play of the game,
on Christmas Day, to get us in the playoffs, about 3 or 4 years ago...
    Against the Baltimore Ravens...

Also, Coming back in the game, after H`aloti N`gata, literally punched him in the face,
and broke his nose, in a different game, with no penalty called..

And Ben said after the game, "The ref said he was just trying to tackle me"..

I can`t count how many times he scrambled out of the pocket, and came up with a huge play,
when most qb`s would have been sacked.

I also miss his 3d down scrambles from early in his career, where he would get the first down,
when the play totally broke down...
He didn`t do it as much, when he got older, but it used to be a specialty of his.

The day we drafted him and the Holmes TD.

Back to back 6 TD games.

    Shoestring tackle.

These are all on my list as well as last year when we were losing to the Jags 16-0 with about 4 minutes left in the game and he pulled out a miracle win.

AFCCG in Denver after his pass to Ward right before the half and he did the six gun shooter. Ben was the MVP of those playoffs and without the two week layoff I think he has a better showing in Detroit. It couldn't have been worse

Yes, it was at Texas Stadium and the Bus scored the winning TD I believe.

It was great. 4 years later as well we beat them at Heinz then surpassed them in rings.

    Great stuff

I was at that game. That play was great, but it would have meant so much more if they hadn't been eliminated from the playoffs the week before. ...by the Browns.:(

It was so cold my eyes were froze open.
There was a lot of action in that game, I think it was Ben's first game with 500+ passing yards.
It was the first win since Tomlin 'unleased hell' a few weeks before, during their 5 game losing skid.

My favorite Ben moment has been the last 15 years with him. The things I have seen him do, the strength he has shown, and the desire to win. It has been a great ride...ups and downs both! He truly represented what this franchise is all about.

AFC Championship at Denver in January of '06. The TD pass to Ward with Champ Bailey covering him.

People, especially those who aren't Steelers fans, tend to focus on the lousy performance in Super Bowl XL. They forget that he carried the offense in the three playoff games to get there.

That said, my favorite moment is still the touchdown pass to Holmes to beat the Cardinals in the Super Bowl. I still think that is the best play in Super Bowl history, given that it was a game-winning touchdown in the final minute and the difficulty of the throw and the catch. The only thing that kept it from being perfect was that there was still some time on the clock and we couldn't really feel safe until Keisel fell on Warner's fumble.

You guys have pretty much mentioned all the big ones.

The most impressive incomplete pass is left out.

The one where Suggs was all over him and some how he got the ball out and threw it out of bounds.

If Collinsworth said, that's the most impressive incomplete pass I've ever seen.

yeah had i watched that game now? I wouldve had a heart attack. I was cool as a cucumber watching that game with cowboys fans all grinning and bearing for the cardinals to win it, while telling me a soft congrats when steelers won.

    :D

I watched that game with one Cardinals fans and a group of other guys who were rooting that way just because they didn't like the Steelers. It was quite satisfying.

The two back to back 6 TD games and beating the two 6-0 patriots and eagles teams back to back was impressive and is still a record....
