not a expert, but, I thought he played well. I thought the safeties and backers were abused.

I agree ,thought he looked better than any other guy we've had for years ,excluding Haden..
Why he wasn't just placed on Metcalf all game is mind blowing ,,but I guess when you really think about it ,its not ..

Our corners are not the problem with the D. The chronic problem is with the safeties and ILBs.

Edmunds, Davis, and Kelly are playing so bad at saftey right now.

You could play corner and the fan base would think you be doing a good job.

Pretty amazing that our best secondary players are always free agent pickups. You think a former DB coach would be able to draft and develop DBs.

Edmunds indeed for certain. Thought this would be the year for him but he is still consistently inconsistent. That being said, it does not help when the communicator of the backend in Sean Davis is constantly banged up after the first two weeks.

As it stands, There really is not an option at Safety outside of a trade. Beyond Minkah, who else?!?! Malik Hooker?! That would require a King's Ransom. Grant Delpit?! He is not a true Single High but is likely the best choice. However, nabbing him means Pittsburgh has a losing record that is 10+ games for he is a top 10 to top 5 pick.

I believe in Devin Bush. Mark Barron leaves a lot to be desired. Vince is out the same. I am wondering if they give Ulysees Gilbert III a chance should Mark go down?!

As for the safeties, I still believe in Terrell. His first two weeks though have been poor overall. Sean Davis is not helping by being banged up.

For a guy in a contract season, one would think that maintaining health is an important step to a raise. Sadly for Davis, this is not the case. For that matter, nevermind health, he does not just look out of position but also lost overall.

Im not an Edmunds fan.. but I think his play has been pretty good. He is what he is. I think he makes it to his 2nd contact here. The NFL is full of guys who are getting paid that are not as good as he is.

I really believe (and praying I am right) that Edmund's play or consistency if you prefer takes a huge step forward with our new acquisition. Personally, I like Edmunds.

Gassed. Either rotate more (no chickallo) or start running the ball.

Just to be totally fair though. Seattle changed up their attack once they realized how stupid they were not taking advantage of the fact Butler has no answer for the quick/short passing game. In the first half Wilson held the ball. In the second he didn’t. Plus Seattle’s OL after the game said they can feel the Steelers pass rushers getting tired. We need to come up with a rotation of players that can be trusted and be successful. Our starters are getting gassed they’re on the field too long by their own doing and partly the offense . Hopefully we remedy that on Sunday on both sides.
