Sam Davis #57 RIP

    just heard that Sam Davis passed away recently at age 75. I remember him during the 1970's. He was probably the most underrated player on that team. He was a small guard but handled Randy White (Manster) on numerous occasions. Randy White never had a big game against us during Sam Davis period. will never forget him

    I agree. RIP sammy. A rock as we're most of our linemen back then. A lot of those guys are gone.:drinks::cool:

    Bradshaw said during his Hall of Fame speech was that all he asked for was a guard who could pull and pull and pull all day and God gave him Sam Davis.
