Bad whiff by Chickillo but where the hell is everyone else? Who is that running down the field with no clue that Penny is running up his butt. Gang tackling anyone?

....and now he’s not even doing that. The “ why can’t we be like them “ comment looks more and more hysterical by the day....

Rudolph will be okay and he will generate points, but 9ers offense will use and abuse the Steelers D.

Bad whiff, yes. Also a pretty nice move by Penny.

If they were smart they would buy one way tickets for the coaching staff.

It was. They get paid too. The biggest issue on that play was our whole D line got collapsed and the MLBs were nowhere to be found and someone had no clue where the ball was.

This all day. There will only be walking papers handed out if and when mediocre/poor performances start impacting the Rooney's bottom line. Rooney rule be damned.

BUT, HCMT needs to fire Butler immediately. He is clueless and his personnel/player packages suck the big one.

And our HC was a DB coach? How many DBs did we miss in the draft on?

You want to cry? Go back and look at all the DB's that have been picked under Tomlin. I did last year. I recommend having a good bottle of bourbon close by.

I don’t even drink. I just bottle in all this sadness and put on a smile day in and day out.

I mean it’s not like I was looking forward to this season to have something to cheer for and be happy right?

If they drop to 0-3 this forum will explode and disintegrate into a million pieces. I can't wait to read all the comments.

Sorry, but no. The issue was Chickillo was unblocked and had the guy for a loss and couldn't even get a hand on him. He has to make that play.

My question is what he was doing on the field. That's a big third-and-two and Watt is on the sideline?

The Steelers had some delusions about this season. One was the idea that Smith-Schuster would be as good or better without Brown on the other side of the field. That simply isn't true. He's a good player, but the Patriots shut him down and he was quiet aside from one big play today.

Another delusion was that the defense is better. It's not. The pass rush can be effective at times, but they get pushed around too much against the run, the safeties are terrible, the scheme is flawed and the tackling is awful. They failed miserably today, as they have in both games this season.

Another delusion was that they would have no problem finding a No. 2 receiver. Moncrief is a complete disaster and nobody else is better than a No. 4 right now. Far too often in the first half, Roethlisberger had time, but nobody could get open. I know nobody wants to hear it, but the loss of Brown looks like it has been devastating to that offense.
