The incompetence is there for everyone to see. The owner does not care.

don't worry about a thing, Keith Butler is devising schemes to shut down Tyler Eifert as we speak...

Our DC huckleberry hound dog should never have been kept here. FHHDI. There I'll get it started this year.

So what I am reading here is that we have good NFL talent being lead by high school coaches. Great.

Maybe they need a longer string...

They just didn't have enough time to prepare. You seem to have analyzed what they were doing in less than a week after the game. Our coaching staff are well behind you after 6 months. What am I missing here?

I think it's pretty clear. For every game:

    **keys to the game**

#1: Don't cover WR with LB

That's the list. Let's do that

info from Chris Hoke today on 93.7 the fan..

to clarify ..yes...WATT with the green dot.. was receiving the the "initial" defensive call because he was on the field the most....but from there ,the middle linebackers BUSH/BARRON were relaying the formations and calls to the rest...also....DBs use hand signals...

I really don't think ownership (especially this Rooney) know as much about football as they think they do.

So, I did manage to read through the entire dadgum interview and found this gem, "We can be too smart as coaches sometimes." I have to disagree with Butler on this quote. I really don't think anyone is accusing him of being "too" smart!

Seriously, would any other team in the league want this guy on their staff? We're supposed to be a top franchise but yet have this guy who is practically a cartoon character.

Stop reading my mind! It's been going on for many seasons now and I don't like it! Even when I do. At least someone understands my pain.

It has been for years. I am not sure why most of you MT lovers
ever thought he was not the biggest BS there is. He is know more than
    a position coach at best.

Never have they been accused of that for sure. Maybe they get accused of thinking that they’re smarter than they are ,which I think they do but all the evidence proves otherwise....

The only positive going into this game is that I read Bens winning percentages after a loss of +20 or more .. I think he was 8-1

Yea the miscommunication excuses and saying it’s early in the year and guys not being on the same page is really getting old. It’s a lazy excuse and it falls directly on Tomlin just like the insane choice of going in shotgun and pitching the ball on three 3rd and 1 plays and one 4th and 1 play. These things better get corrected going forward if this team hopes to win and make the playoffs.

The team's record under MT clearly shows he is a pretty good HC.

I guess 'pretty good' has become acceptable in Pittsburgh. It's the new Steelers standard.
