Throwback Jersey games announced

Heard on steelers.com live today by Art Rooney II to expect the steelers to wear the new throwbacks on Oct 28 against the redskins, and Nov 18 against the ravens. Just figured i'd pass along the info in case anyone was wondering.

Gonna look like yard time at Shawshank. Looking forward to it! I like throwback games, any teams! Watching teams play in unis my dad and grand dad watched them in....WAY COOL!!!

 

If I don't get to go to the jets game I'm going to the redskins game that would be sweet to see the throw back jerseys

 

I will see them against the Skins in Pittsburgh. I am a bit disappointed since this is the first time my kids will be along but either way they will definitely enjoy it!

 

Going to the Raven's Game. I'm Psyched. For some dumb reason these are really starting to grow on me. If only they were available on NFLShop.

 

Oh God I hated those uniforms when the Steelers wore them back
in the sixty's, Brings back too many bad memories.

 

I know it isn't the popular opinion around here, but I like these. I've wished for several years that the Steelers would wear these for the throwbacks, so I was glad to see it when it was announced. I really liked these after getting a good look at the Steelers in action with them years ago when I first got the "Complete History of the Steelers" on DVD.

 

They wore these in the 34 season
