Truth. It's week 1, so we prepare for week one instead of game planning to hit them in the mouth.

Honestly, I'm not that concerned about Roethlisberger. My primary worry with him is how long will it take him to get his act together. He often starts slow, yet Tomlin refuses to adjust how he prepares Roethlisberger for the season.

The larger issue to me is the lack of receivers. People can argue all they like about whether or not trading Brown was the right call, but there is no doubt that he is a huge loss to the offense and the Steelers haven't come close to replacing him.

Stability for the sake of stability is going to hurt this club.

    • The Packers ownership had enough of Mike McCarthy.
    • John Mara eventually parted ways with Tom Coughlin.
    • Steve Bisciotti told Brian Billick to hit the bricks.
    • Hell.....even Mike Brown got tired of Marvin Lewis.
Art II needs to look in the mirror and decide if this is really the way to go.

I'm worried about JuJu's ability to separate. I saw almost none of that tonight.

I’m afraid to say it but I will. Juju may not be a true #1

Listen to Tomlin he will tell you they are only concerned about themselves and they do what they do. Continue to not play Ben during PS and make sure you keep the Bensday tradition going, even though some think it isn’t a issue.

He should be the top receiver just not in relation to scheme. I said weeks ago they need Moncrief and Washington outside and let Juju work the slot or have Juju outside and Washington inside and run a pick play with Washington slanting to the sideline and Juju over the middle.

Yep and you have to know the BB has multiple 3 ring binders full of info on every team and as soon as he gets the schedule he use every spare moment to prep.

Belichick routinely takes away the other teams best player, don’t read too much into it. He shut down AB too.

Difference between a winning and losing team was on full display tonight on national TV ala Tomlins arms folded making dumb facial expressions like he needed to take a dump, and Belicheat communicating down line with coaches and players and taking notes and all!!

3-in-50 is more important to Art than winning. Makes him feel superior.

Did he ever do it without double-teaming him? Gilmore shut Smith-Schuster down most of the night and he was usually doing it without help. Granted, Gilmore is one of the top corners in the league, but he shouldn't be able to do it that thoroughly.

At best, the offense still hasn't adjusted to the loss of Brown. If you count the final game of 2018, this is two consecutive games without him and both times the offense was a disaster. It's a small sample size and I hope they can figure some things out, but at some point if you keep losing special players, it's going to have a serious impact. The Steelers might have reached that point.

Is it unfair to say Conner isn't Bell and Smith-Schuster isn't Brown and I don't think either guy is going to get to quite that level? This isn't to say Conner and Smith-Schuster aren't excellent players, but perhaps neither one is capable of being among elite at his position the way Bell and Brown were for the Steelers.

He was up against one of the top DB’s in the league and was in a completely misfiring offence. Give him a chance to come good

I’d be more worried about the Offensive Line. They did not look as good as they should, hopefully they are just a bit rusty and will come good

The play calling across the game was a disaster. FG on 4th and 1 at the goal line. I don’t know who called that but it was pure cowardice

This is something commentators says because they think it sounds smart. But it isn't.

Star players usually do beat the other teams--that's why they're star players with ridiculous stats.
