    AFC
10 of last 11 years it's been Brady, Ben, & Peyton. No reason to think this year will be any different.
Steelers (will face either Pats or Broncos in playoffs)

    NFC
No back to back appearance since GB in nineties.
    Atlanta finally breaks through.

Superbowl - Steelers over Atlanta :herewego:

    GB vs NE.

I'll take GB to win it this year. They're just too good.

I'll take SF defeating NE - with Harbaugh slapping Belichick on the back afterwards.

Picking Denver isn't? That's more surprising then Detroit. Were you in Denver breathing that thin air when you made this pick BSFK? :lolol: ;)

Anyway, Steelers vs 49ers with Steelers bringing in Trophy #7 :yeehaw:

Okay so why are some of you picking NE and DEN over the Steelers to represent the AFC? There is no way either one of those teams are better than the Steelers imo.

    Steelers over the Giants :herewego:

    Yes I am a homer!

I'm a believer that when post-season starts anything can happen. Assuming the Steelers make the playoffs, their chance is as good as any.

Steelers/Green Bay rematch - with a better result this time!

When I saw the words PICS in the title...I'm like pictures of what? But SB PICKS...now i get it haha...was very confused.

Here are my picks...the best team in the AFC vs. the best team in the NFC!

And I'm guessing the team that scores the most point will be the winner of the superbowl???

I usually find myself asking the same questions every year: 1. What team(s) will shock the world and make it into the Super Bowl? 2. What team(s)will shock the world and even make it into the playoffs? 3. What team(s) who surprised everyone last year and are media darlings this year will take a step backwards? 4. What established powerhouse(s) will fail to make the playoffs.

    My best guesses for 2012?

    1. Houston vs Atlanta in SB XLVII.
    2. Cleveland, Oakland, and St. Louis, possibly even Seattle
    3. Cincy and San Fran...It'll be interesting how the 49ers now deal with being faves and not underdogs
    4. Baltimore and New Orleans (but don't be surprised if it's our Steelers here)

AFC Playoff seeds: 1. New England (because they play in a pansy division); 2. Houston; 3. Pittsburgh; 4. Oakland; 5. Denver; 6. Cleveland
NFC Playoff seeds: 1. Green Bay; 2. Dallas; 3. Atlanta; 4. St. Louis; 5. NY Giants; 6. Chicago

WOW! Ballsy - CLEVELAND in the playoffs? Do you live in NE Ohio? The only reason I ask is that they're already whining about injuries, suspensions, team too young, etc. The expectations here are WORSE than 4-12, Shurmur, Heckert, Holmgren gone - new system next year - looking to the future.

A gutsy move to put them in the playoffs - but if they are - it'll be hard for the new owner to make changes - leaving he same dysfunctional system in here with futility in the forecast for years to come!

Yeah, on paper it doesn't look good for the Browns. But I remember saying basically the same thing about the Bengals last year with their rookie QB whom I (and many people) thought would struggle. So they're my "you never know" pick. Miami would be another one.
