I'll try and improve on last weeks joke. If Tuzar gets a blind side sack on Andy Dalton this year, would the announcers say that Ginger's back side was left unprotected and was nailed from behind by Skipper?

Holton has not had a good preseason thus far.

He has had Washington wide open deep twice this preseason. Both times, he underthrew the pass and Washington had to bail him out by making a good adjustment.

Dobbs made a great throw to Rogers, but otherwise, he wasn't that impressive in the first half. The interception was a terrible throw.

I thought this was Preseason, why aren't they letting Hodges run the 2-minute offense?

Ibet the chiefs run the 2-minute offense!

Liking P.J. Locke. Would like to have him on the PS. Not too sure Dravon Henry makes it.

Tough qb battle. All 3 better than Landry imo

I really hope we keep QB Hodges. He has QB smarts. Savvy. Somebody will snap him up if we cut him.

How the hell could HCMT have trouble spotting Andy Reid?

Justin Layne was thrown to the wolves last week and looked lost, but he came out tonight and played a really good ballgame.

I’m not ready to crown Hodges yet. If you want to crown him, then crown him. But he’s playing against a bunch of no namers on defense. I’m not sure he’ll get an opportunity against a better defense as the competition to hold Ben’s IPAD continues.

You're right about all of that, but he doesn't seem to be the type that would be intimidated by the bigger challenge.

Dobbs= great athlete who looks like he has heart and the drive, just can’t make simple throws consistently.

Rudolph= plays poised and pretty safe. Doesn’t take a ton of chances

Hodges= confident poised and takes risks. Would be a great #3 somewhere

It was an interesting game for sure. Thought all of the QB's played pretty well, thought Spencer flashed in a positive way. Skipper and Gilbert look like they should be on the roster... Going to be a tough final cut for sure.

QB - Hodges keeps looking good. Idk if he's just been a pre-season flash or if the kid can ball. Hes played great. Rudolph looks like he has progressed nicely. Dobbs looks like he has gotten better too. Still a few head scratchers, but overall he has played fairly well too.

WR - Looking like its a deep bunch. Diontae Johnson looked good in his first game. Diontae Spencer is flashing in the return game and looks dangerous with the ball in his hands. JuJu/Moncrief/Washington are locks. Johnson is basically a lock too. Last two spots down to Switzer/Rogers/Spencer. It could be an interesting battle

LB - I really like Skipper and Gilbert. I really cant find a reason to keep them off the roster at this point. Especially with Ola potentially out a game or two, Skipper seems like he's got a good shot. Gilbert should be a lock at this point at ILB4. He is exactly the type of player we need. Matakevich and Skipper fighting for LB9? Both make it if we keep 10?

S - Only position I don't feel great about. Starters should be good but we don't have much depth. Allen and Dangerfield aren't really making me feel warm and fuzzy. Can Kelly make a push? Can Brian Allen play FS? Who knows.

To me, the brightest spot through two games is James Washington. It isn't just the numbers, which would be even better if Dobbs hadn't underthrown him twice on deep balls. Washington was making tough catches last preseason, too, but the improved quickness really shows.

I hope the Steelers can package Dobbs with B Allen and others to bring back
a draft pick .player. that can help us going forward.

Mike hilton can play some fs. Sign this kid already.

Hodges places the ball well for and on the receivers. It doesn't matter who he is playing against. First team of fourth team where and when he throws and puts the ball is what is telling about the kid. That isn't by accident. That is where he stands out to me.

Bud Dupree looks much better this year. I hope we see this next game.

Tyson alualu is having a very good preseason. Not a great year last year but looks more like two years ago right now. Big plus.

    Layne much better.

UG3 much potential. Needs to stay.

    Washington. Glad we have him.

Wasn't the Clowns 4-0 preseason, 0-16 regular season not to long ago?
