He recovered from the torn ACL he suffered last October but sometimes RB's just can't get it all back after an injury like that.

I saw it in about 15 spots trying to find it...but I think you are right...it was Seyi Ajirotutu and most people just ran with it.

We would never have gotten him anyway...way to far down the waiver wire...

Ditto. I am trying to get up with Dan Rooney to thank him for not going with my pick for coach. I was screaming Wiz! Who the hell is Mike Tomlin? Anyhoo Mr. Rooney, if you ever see this post, THANKS FOR NOT ASKING ME WHO TO HIRE AS COACH. Mike Tomlin works just fine with me.

Yeah but his home field would be Heinz. Guy that old may have trouble kicking there. Heck, he is only 22 years younger than me.

Yep, big difference playing in a dome and in a south division with mostly nice weather. 8 Games a year in the Superdome, then away at Atlanta, TB, Carolina. Good kicking conditions compared to Heinz Field for 8 and away at Cleveland, Cincy, even Baltimore in the weather.

I remember a lot of mock drafts had us picking Tank Carder in the 3rd to 4th round .Was he cut due to bad play or was he a victim of a team with a glut of good players at LB

Why on earth are we keeping 3 TEs?

Pope should have been on the bus out of town but he lingers on lol

Just goes to show us all that the Steeler organization knows who to keep and who to release. I cannot think of one example where a player was released and they went on to do better things with another team..

Even Kendrell Bell ( china doll) sucked in Kansas

I can think of two just off the top of my head: James Harrison and Yancey Thigpen. And going way back: Johnny Unitas.

Yeah, but we did our damnedest to get rid of him. We cut him three times. THEN HE WENT TO BALTIMORE. Thankfully, they were stupid enough to cut him too and we got him back, and kept him. Can you imagine if the Ravens had let him stick around a little longer? And we'd have to face that guy twice a year? With our OL? Ben wouldn't have a torso anymore.

I know eh? Weird that he was even cut at all but he most definately made some changes and bulked up and now is a intrical part of our defense. And don't even talk about the Ravens Snack. LOL.. Oh man for me that's like swearing. I hate them more then the stains and fungals

I want James to be in tip top condition to take the head off of Flacco .. God willing or should I say Godell willing lol

How about WR Tori Gurley cut by GB? Odd man out of a stacked GB WR corps. Great size, 6'4", looked good in preseason, would be a great #5. Won't likely fall to us on waiver wire though.

Vrabel and Nickerson come to mind, also Chad Brown. I think Nickerson and Brown were probowlers after they went on to other teams.

I just looked up Nickerson -- 5 probowls, 90's all decade team as a LB with teh Bucs. Brown went to 2 more probowls with the seachickens.

Vrabel, Nickerson, Joey Porter, Rod Woodson all spring to mind....and I would even add in Stephan Logan in Detroit...Kuhn is a GB Hero now..they love him in GB. Plaxico got his ring while playing pretty well in NYG....Santonio is still the man in the zoo that is the Jets....Chris Hope is still doing alright now down in Atlanta.....as well as Nate Washington.

Looks like Evan Moore is a Seahawk...but they cut KW2 to do so......I would take KW2 over Paulson and Pope.
