There will always be players that can and will play the game for what is being offered.

been listening to denver radio about the donkeys camp and how TE Noah Fant has come in out of shape and the other players are getting on him about it. There is a reason why Tomlin says run, run, and then run some more before showing up for camp. The physical challenge can be reduced so you can pick things up mentally better. I hope everyone listened. Plus no injuries would be a huge bonus.

Didn't take the owners too long to get the real pros back. Just several billion dollars.

We saw how this played out before with replacement players. It doesn't work.
Who was saying the players were going to run the NFL. But they are going to get their fair share of the pie.

Actually it didn’t take long for the pros to agree with the owners. Both sides got what they wanted. Both sides signed. I’m jus saying this time the owners are going to clean up what I stated, and they will. Players, in the majority, want wages and benefits.

My guess is the players, much to the exasperation of their lawyer agents, will collapse faster than a wet cardboard box. Compared to other sports, NFL players have shorter careers, lots of ready replacements, and too much limelight. As much as they get paid, they still live paycheck to paycheck.

I way be totally wrong, but I'm betting no strike. For most of the NFLPA, If that screws the next generation of players, too bad. That's their problem.

WTH did they get rid of their best pitchers on the staff and go with what they have now? Damn it, I am getting tired of the other team winning on a home run in the 8th or 9th inning and losing by one run. So now I am waiting on the Steelers to get up and going again. And the Penguins.

At least this year we can live without Mr. Little Pecker showing up with his grand “look at me” entrance.

dang that has to be frustrating to a pro player, just getting ready to start the season too.
TE Jake Butt with Denver lost two years in a row to knee injuries.

It really could be, though traditionally the NFL union is considered the weakest of pro sports. I do believe this time might be different. Seeing the other leagues players getting all of their money upfront is a strong motivator. I do not believe the NFL will ever have fully guaranteed contracts, but the players have a traditionally very short window to cash in, and this is a different era for athletic personalities. Not sure the NFL owners have changed their thinking in the this evolving pro sports time.

Do you recall the time they used replacement players during a strike. (early 80's). It was not pretty, lol.
