Watching Spence and the hyper extension of the knee is sick. I remember going off the field in a stretcher with a broken and dislocated ankle and it was the worst.. My injury was on a ball field and not football

Still have the hardware in my ankle

Dang - now the field goal becomes an adventure for Suisham.
    Phew! It's a touchdown instead.

Can we put him on PS and not worry about being taken by another team?

No, but he isn't to the level of Leftwich or the eternal Charlie Batch yet.

Can't we keep three qb's? Ben, Batch, and Johnson?

Right but the problem becomes you need to find someone that is going to be able to replace Ben in the next 4 years or so. I dont think lefty nor charlie will be around. For the immediate future you have to go with the vets but you need a young replacement

My thoughts exactly. Batch is steady and reliable. Johnson could be the future. I don't see Lefty fitting in.

Ben's future replacement isn't even in college yet. Johnson ain't it. Anyone remember Cliff Stoudt?

Not to take away from Byron.. He has been a good replacement. .Has had a decent career and in fact he beat our team as a Jag. Slow release and rocket arm and this year in fact I have seen an improvement in his mobility and arm ( wow go figure lol ) I still think he gets released and probably noboby will pick him up

Agreed, well...he might be in college now...not sure, but I agree Johnson isn't it.

I don't see them choosing JJ over Leftwich.

I would argue that only because with injury you never know when you need to find a franchinse QB to replace Ben

Really? Ok well I am not here to argue and I dont know a great deal about it anyways .

I don't see the point in keeping 3 QBs if they are Ben Charlie and Lefty..

True - but Johnson is no franchise quarterback. There's a reason he was undrafted. If Ben goes down with a major injury - we'll have a game manager until the next franchise QB comes along. Let's see - it took over 20 years after Bradshaw. Hopefully not as long this time.

Alright - if it goes to overtime - Steelers elect to kickoff - then just let them run it in.

Good call by the Carolina coaching staff. Avoid OT

Tunch just said he thinks Cortez Allen will be a top NFL CB. That would be nice.

I do. If Ben goes down [knock knock], I want a proven veteran at QB instead of an unknown, undrafted QB. Lots of people look good in preseason. I want to see more before putting JJ on the active 53
