His thread brings up a major issue. Can McDonald stay healthy? If he goes down the tight end position is in big trouble. They are not signing Rudolf, they just let JJ go. They are clinging to the fact that McDonald will stay healthy. Now if they didn't waste 9.2 on a mediocre player then I would say they might be in the market for someone. They will pick up a camp cut.

If Steelers go 19-0... I'll delete my account and you'll never have to witness my logic and foresight ever again. But only if they go undefeated and overcome '72 Dolphins undefeated season.

This right here, while Vance had an ok year last year as far as injuries he has never played all 16 and who is the back up? It is asking Gimble a lot to step in, jmo.

The Steelers are surely lacking leaders and if his nose glows red it's a no-brainer.

How dare you invoke thoughts of Rudolph at QB. The other Rudolph.

Rudolph wouldn't want to come to a team like Pittsburgh that has a established starter at TE, he's headed for free agency in 2020, and probably wants to go to a team and put up numbers.

So, 18-1 with a Lombardi trophy, and you’ll still be back with a 6-10 prediction for the following season?

Also the Vikings will want a high draft pick for Rudolph, the Steelers owe the Broncos a third round pick for the Bush trade, so I doubt they would give up anymore draft picks.

The Browns won 7 games last year, proving that just about anything can happen in the NFL these days.

But yeah... 18-1 was a joke.

Minnesota people are nice?...says the guy from Iowa. We are "nice" here in the mid-west, however we are country strong also (or corn fed if you prefer). By the way, we come to Valley Fair every summer, and the mall, and the outlet mall, and anywhere else my wife tells me we have to go!

I went to the "Tree Town Festival" in Forest City, Iowa and everyone was very nice. Council Bluffs, IA on the other hand.....lol. But I've worked the last two years all over MN from the Minn-WI border to the Minn-SD border and most of the people were friendly too. Mankato kinda sucked but most people in the midwest are cool.

It's a total contrast to CO (the land of 10,000 joints) all the people here suck

We don't really count Council Bluffs as Iowa...we gave that city to Nebraska.

I have seen reports the Patriots were interested in trading for Rudolph, also that the Vikings offered him a 5 year deal.

The Pats are currently only $5.89 million under the salary cap. I am guessing they aren't a probable destination.
