He also went to a local Walmart to get supplies for the event and dropped 900 dollars cash into the bucket of a kid collecting for charity.

Being a hero comes naturally to some players others want drama.

Absolutely class act, what a great guy to have on the team considering all the nonsense of the past few seasons.

JuJu for the Steelers and Josh Bell for the Pirates. Two of the nicest smartest down to earth guys each with so much talent and potential to succeed for many years ahead. Two bright spots in the Pittsburgh sports world.

His enthusiasm for life is so infectious. He seems to embrace every opportunity and make it better for those around him. 'I'm just a kid", yes JuJu, only 22, a kid...with a tremendous attitude and maturity well beyond your years.

Thorn, do you have your JuJu jersey yet? I bought mine for selfish reasons. Mainly after his LEGAL hit introducing himself to Birthdefect. Had it ordered before that game was over. Now I will have to get his away jersey. Move over Ben, JuJu is my new hero.

JuJu also visited a senior center last week, AB would've showed up 2-3 hours late :lolol:.

I haven't yet, although I was at a pro team shop 2 weeks ago and they had a Juju replica on sale for 79 dollars and I almost got it but decided I'd wait until I can get a Barron jersey for my Dad and my son a juju one for me closet to the season.

For some reason my 'puter will not let me post the link, but on the Steelers website they have a nice story of Ryan Switzer and B.J Finney attending 'Prom Night" at Children's hospital. Seems Ryan is a regular visitor there as well. All teams have good guys that give back to their communities, just nice to see our guys giving the team good press, as well as giving back. Good job guys, Thank you.

I don't. JuJu seems to come from a very stable upbringing. Rash decisions seem to be prevalent with unstable upbringings.

See I post this and then a few hours later Josh Bell goes out and has a 4-4 day driving in 5 runs to take 3 of 4 from the vaulted St Louis Cards. TSF Website is the one and only source for the truth and solid info for all things Pittsburgh Sports. I know, I know - slightly :offtopic:
