Hello fellow brothers and sisters! AskQuestionsLater here, bringing you an article I found while browsing the internet today. For better or worse, Jeremy Fowler is the author.

His piece gives some insight on what Devin had to go through when he was young to get where he is at today. More on this can be found in the link below!

Devin Bush Jr.: Built 'Burgh Tough

Personally, even before this article, I had feeling he was the unquestioned leader within that Michigan defense due in part to the way he carried himself within games. Now, after reading his upbringing, I feel even more elated we got him. As always and again, health is key.

Should he endure the 16 game season though, I believe that he will elevate Pittsburgh's defense to a new level. One that we have not seen in some time.

Gotta feel for the kid because he is going to get hella teased at training camp about that especially by the Ohio State guys lol.

All I care about is will he add value to the defense and be worth a number one draft pick. .

1st practice of rookie minicamp Devin Bush called the defense after receiving the playbook earlier today. Temper the expectations but the kid is vocal already and is finding his feet.

I'll admit that I don't know very much about college football players in the least bit as I hardly ever watch them due to other priorities committed to Saturday afternoons. That being said this article is very encouraging and I hope he has a tremendous career building our defense to a top notch one that has been missing on a consistency basis.

So, is he the 'nasty LBer' we have been missing? Is TJ the general? We have always had a nasty guy, a general, and a guy who makes big plays but is low key.

This gave me a flashback to Lambert and Ham. Ham never said anything or showed much emotion. But he backed it up with play that sent him to the HOF. And Lambert, well he was Lambert.

We shouldn't expect Bush to be a defensive messiah like Polamalu and Harrison. As long as the run D improves and he makes a steady contribution to the improvement of our current defense.. it's all good.

I was referring to more of the last 20 years... but yeah. Lambert and Blount were badasses.
