Makes sense, but what about rivalries that been established? Baltimore is closer to PGH
than Indy is. Plus our biggest rivalry. Buffalo is closer than Baltimore to PGH. NFL (The league) will tweak when they feel needed. With the crowds you just witnessed for the draft last weekend, I think the NFL is pretty much in control of all Major league sports in this country. LOL

Realignment may come if a franchise ever moves, but I do not think the NFL sees it as a high priority. I shudder to think what would happen if they ever do put a team in London. That would be a traveling nightmare not only for the home team, but the division rivals as well.

For what it's worth Ohio is the only state with two teams that are in the same conference. Even New York and California with 3+ teams are split. Browns or Bengals, one of them should be moved to NFC.

I see what you're getting at but, when you bring 3+ teams in, you inevitably have 2 teams in the same conference. Missed Florida with 3 as well.

As far as I know the only States with just 2 are Pennsylvania, Ohio and Texas.

California having 4 is a bit crazy, but fixes itself next year.

California also has 38 million people in it. Raiders should have went to San Antonio
I think Texas has 31 million people.

California is a large state on the west coast of the United States that is home to one of the world's most diverse populations. Our current estimate for California's population in 2019 is 40.02 million. At the last official United States census carried out in 2010, the population of California was declared at 37,253,956 which makes the state the most populous by a wide margin over 2nd place Texas (28 million).

Thanks for the research Diamond, I knew these were the 2 most populated states by far, but wasn't sure just how much.
So where I live in Pa, Cali is three times more and Texas 2.
