After witnessing the success ex-Pirates Charlie Morton and Gerrit Cole had in 2017 and 2018 with the Houston Astros, and now Tyler Glasnow being named the American League pitcher of the month for April in the American League, I wondered about what other former Pirates played well after their playing days in Pittsburgh and what that all-time team would be.

Don't have much without Googling - bad case of CRS..............

Ex-Pirates: As you reminded me - Moises Alou, add Tim Wakefield, Jim Leyland, Sid Bream (ugh - like the guy, met him once, very polite but don't like what he did to Buccos), Steve Pearce (2018 WS MVP), and of course, Mario Mendoza (just kidding). EDIT: Just remembered some obscure guy named Bonds-something.
Ex-Steelers: Len Dawson, Hardy Nickerson, Manny Sanders, Mike Vrabel, John Kuhn GB FB), Rod Woodson, and of course, Bubby Brister (2 SB Rings).
