Provided we stay put, who you banging the table for?

I would like to see FS addressed with 3a if someone like Thornhill or CGJ or if Adderly slips because of his small school status. I would consider Thompson as well. Alabama safeties are playing well in the league and Thompson was considered one of the best safety prospects coming into the CFB season. I'm not gonna let his bad game against Clemson totally push me away. His versatility would be welcome in our secondary.

With 3b I'm praying Hardman is there. We can have our own bigger, more versatile and just as fast version of Hollywood Brown. He's just scratching the surface of what he can do. Same size as AB was, same quick feet and even more speed. Can develop outside, instant bubble screen, jet sweep ,PR ,KR nightmare. Replaces Switzer and Rogers next year. Will develop inside and outside. He has the skill set for both. Wants to be a Steeler.....I'm sold.

We can double dip at WR much later. There is no clear path for 2 WRs on the roster,so IMO one has to be able to be stashed. Cody Thompson at 6c?

Among the players I feel Pittsburgh will push for, Greedy Williams just might be it. Byron Murphy is also another big option. Sleeper here is Julian Love.

If not them?! Oh please Chauncey Gardner Johnson. I cannot believe he was not selected. Was so sure he would be. Top 20 player in this draft for me.

Yes to any of those guys, however I think Love is the most likely to slide because of his lack of top end speed.

For me Winovich is the top guy I want right now. It’s not going to happen, but he’s a heck of a player. I may do a list later if I have time (I probably won’t)

David Sills, Ben Banogu, Kahale Warring, Justice Hill.CBs are falling so perhaps Julian Love or Justin Layne.

Maybe we trade back up into the 2nd round if a team is willing targeting Chase, Greedy, Byron, Thornhill

Or heres hoping that a value like J.J. Arcega-Whiteside is still there at our 3rd rounder.

Hoping Steelers trade back into 2nd round for a corner or wr. Love Chase but the way Bush blitzes, I can see him coming off edge w TJ on other side and Baron as the dime LB sometimes. We shall see

I would be willing to trade our first 3rd and our 4th round picks to move up and get Byron Murphy. Worth it IMO. You end up with two first round talents, both of which fill needs. Then you would still have a 3rd and two 5ths to work with.

Staying put and using Zeirlein’s Day 2 mock on nfl.com as an availability guide:

    Taylor Rapp, S, Washington, 3a

    Jace Sternberger, TE, A&M, 3b

Would also be happy with this. Ive said before that Taylor Rapp seems under-appreciated on this board. I really like the look of him but would be very surprised if he drops to 3rd round

Not sure if the salary cap ramifications would allow for this...BUT if all the good corners go early in the second as expected, get back in bed with Elway and trade for Chris Harris, Jr. with one of our thirds. Then pick best WR available with the other. Too bad Winovich won’t make it to third. Perhaps Pratt might?

Really? If we moved 66 and a 6th to move up to say 58-60 and grab him, you wouldn't like it?

    Don't like Winovich?

    He isn't a 2nd Rd talent. He isn't a 3rd rd talent either.

    5th - 6th rd that might get drafted in the 4th but shouldn't ..
