o-line roster

will we keep lee or beachum (which i might add had a good game last night as did all the backups from the prior two games. IF DD can go on the pup list for the first 6 weeks and be back at least able to practice by 8 weeks, who will we go with as the extra lineman. do we go outside and bring in someone? even malecki? scott? jolly? whos your daddy?



myself, i like beachum and lee. i also like malecki. beachum brings that extra guy that can play LT in a pinch and across the board once he learns it all. which for him shouldn't be a problem smarts wise. lee offers either guard and RT ability. malecki as most know can backup either guard and center. his best being at center me thinks. he was pretty good there last year in preseason. scott i haven't noticed much but also could in a pinch play 4 spots on the line , either T or either G, but has never seen any action at his college position LT. jolly, i think has gotten worse instead of better during his pro days. pick your poison. i know we are going to keep essex now though, but they may keep one more at this rate.

If DD goes to IR...then I keep LEE and Beachum to the PS

I keep Chris Scott and send Beachum to the PS. Essex just became more valuable as he can play all 5 positions upfront.

If injury comes to one of the guards positions, legursky will be in and if something happens to Pouncey, Essex can play center.

 

yes b ut essex is horrible if we can go outside and sign someone like jason brown, would be a lot better

foster will do a good job. so will pouncey. my concern is the other 3.

 

Yeah Foster has looked good enough that i'm not in panic mode about him
