WHY I NEVER BUY CURRENT PLAYERS JERSEYS = AB, LB

They tried that here, in San Diego but, not even the homeless would take Ryan Leaf jerseys!

 

NFL wise? Peyton manning, wes Welker, and tebow. NBA, MLB, and nhl wise though many more.

I was given an authentic Roethlisberger jersey and low and behold it ends up miraculously missing. The more stuff you have, the more it's taken from you. I'll just use the money and buy a ticket for the game showing up in my sweatshirt.

 

Arguably the best inside linebacker ever to play. Not a bad jersey to have.

 

I have Bettis, Troy and a black Harrison super bowl jersey with the super bowl crest on it from the game we wore our white jerseys

I have 3 Sidney Crosby jerseys never considered the age of the player or my own as a thing. Why does that make a difference?

 

I wouldn’t get too worried about it from reading his posts there’s a lot of things Tyler doesn’t understand.

 

Worshiping anyone is a little odd to me as an adult. I watch football as pure entertainment and yes I do own jerseys most of which I bought when i was much younger but to buy some punks ( yes most of these players are just that) jersey half my age is just weird..........

 

For what it’s worth, someone half my age is still old in football terms.

 

The way this team has turned out. You can't buy any jerseys. Just buy apparel that has Steelers on it and hopefully that won't change ... lol

Combine these two ideas and have a "throwback" day for the first home game where people can throw their AB jerseys on the field at half time. They could be scooped up and donated to the homeless in a huge marketing ploy!

 

I could be misremembering, but I think the Cavs did something similar when Lebron went to Miami. Or they offered a discount on any other Cavs jersey to fans returning their Lebron jersey. Something like that.

 

They did something like that but I don't remember exactly what. Living in the Cleveland area I have come to realize that Cleveland sports fans think of sports and players like recently jilted lovers think of their lover. And there has been a lot more jilting than loving

 

I was just in a “Black and Gold” store in Breezewood, PA. They had a ton of AB and LB merchandise. Kind of made me feel bad that they are going to have to eat that cost now. But hey, business is boomin for AB.

If you are ever in Breezewood, they do have a lot of stuff, Stiller’s, Pens and Buccos.

 

I was talking to the guy who owns Yinzers in the strip district and he said Bell’s mom ordered six of these giant sized LB bobble heads then backed out on the deal after he had them made. $600 apiece. I was at the beginning of last season. He told me it was then that he knew Bell wasn’t planning on playing for us last season.

 

That apple didn’t fall far from the tree.

 

There are certain sports stores/ outlets in every city, that make and sell name plates and numbers and will sewn them on for you for a reasonable price. The are some restrictions due to copyright laws so you will have to check with them.
