Sign him. One dropped catch doesn't define who he is. No one is screaming for Juju to be released.

I disagree. It wasn't a dropped catch, but a fumble, from trying to go Vance McDonald, instead became Ronald McDonald. It does define him, just as Ridley's fumble defines him; back-ups who made mistakes at crucial times. The difference between JuJu and Grimble is 100 defining plays versus 2 or 3 defining plays. Do we expect Grimble to go out and win games? No. But we do need to expect back ups not to go out and lose games. Players need to know their abilities and limitations, just as much as they need to have confidence in themselves.

Trying to make a play and trying to make a highlight reel are two different things...

That said, while I’d like some new blood at TE, I wouldn’t criticise the move by the FO. Sensible decision.

Not to mention JuJu is a 100 times better at his position than Grimble is at his. Of course you wouldn't release him for a fumble.

That said, I'm sure that play has very little to do with this move. If a team makes a bid that they feel comfortable matching, they will. Grimbles of the world are a dime a dozen, no reason to over pay. They will most likely be drafting a TE.

T.J. Hockenson for me. If not him, Foster Moreau from LSU. If anything, he is worth a Round Three look. He will perform far better in the pros than he did at LSU.

Hey I’d take either.... losing AB and his TDs, another big redzone target would help.
