So because Ward once criticized Roethlisberger that means that Ward didnt like him? Some of you guys are really reaching on this BR hatefest.

I don't hate Ben, duh. Hines was critical of Ben when Ben was young and acting like a jerk.

Ward being critical of Ben in a specific situation is different than "Hines didn't seem to like Ben". I think you are exaggerating this supposed dislike that Ward has or had for Roethlisberger.

It think it was an isolated incident and Hines apologized, so they squashed it. Communication goes a long way when these things crop up, something AB could have used.

Any word on who were the three teams that inquired about a trade for Brown?

I was thinking last night after reading the three teams have called story and about the stuff AB pulled at camp that they are just now making known. So what about the Bucs? He would be reunited with BA, the the have a luxury hotel right next to their training camp facilities for the team and now OJ Howard and Brate that will be rendered useless in a BA system. Trade him to Tampa for Howard and a pick and let AB fight with Evans and Jackson for touches from a QB that checks out half way through the season.

Honestly, trading for Howard straight up would be fantastic IMO. Also, on Sirius the other day Pat Kirwan suggested that a trade for DeSean Jackson could make sense. In that case I would expect draft pick comp in addition to Jackson because of his age and the fact that he’s entering the final year of his contract (@ $10 million). If there’s one thing Jackson can still do very effectively, it’s stretch a defense. He’d help JuJu, JW and others get space.

Another team that could make sense is Carolina. Cam could really use a top veteran WR, and I think his style would fit AB better than a lot of other QBs. I’ve also read that they’re friends. I would trade AB for Curtis Samuel plus a 3rd or 4th round pick. Carolina may have a few things to rework to make the deal work from a cap perspective, but it can be done.

Huh? Every person I've brought up its just oh they just dont like ben. Well who's the common denominator in all those situations. Can't be that multiple people saying the same things are just pulling stuff out of no where. The only person who said anything about AB's character PUBLICLY is Ryan clark who doesnt like AB ?

Onlt thing I did hear was...Colbert said he doesn't WANT to trade him to NE or an AFC North team , and would "prefer" he go to an NFC team ...

Sounds smart but also obviously that limits your percentages, and one would think that would lower your chances of a better package?

A trade scenario I would like to see...Trade AB and our 1st to a team in the top 12...We get their 1st, plus like a 4th or 5th?

Get a true stud impact player on D...The last time we were that high ( and it wasn't even as high ) we got Troy...And that seemed to work out ok

AB has about 3 years left in his tank. He showed signs of slowing down this season. A high draft choice would potentially give the team the greatest long term value. That’s pretty much what I suspect Colbert is thinking.

Don't like the Jackson part, But Howard...Hell ya!...Wanted him out of college...He's had **** QB's...Uber Athletic, You team him with McDonald, scary athleticism at TE...Sign a guy like Tyrell Williams in FA, and our offense doesn't miss a beat, maybe better?

Teams would have to have their base package in with 2 TE's...Could get back to a more conventional offense...You sell out for the run, you have 2 matchup nightmares at TE

If AB gets butt hurt over Ben calling him out, how would he react to Rivers yelling at him on the field?

Quite a few of Aaron Rodgers former teammates were critical of him after they left the Packers, it comes with the territory of being the franchise QB. AB has no character, he's a clown :lolol:.

Cam Newton might sit out the entire 2019 season, so I'm not sure the Panthers are making that sort of move right now.

Admitting to team doctors that he still had concussion symptoms is acting like a jerk? If I remember correctly, that was the time Ward criticized Roethlsiberger that led to the quarterback missing a game against the Ravens.

Ward was way out of line on that one, but as others pointed out, he did apologize later.

Brady, brees, both mannings, Montana, elway, I can go on. Rodgers, Ben, Favre are the divas. Rodgers though out of the 3 has had the most individual success because he's the most talented to ever play.

Dude, Hines was critical of the way Ben handled himself early on in his career, besides that concussion incident. Google it

It wasn't a isolated incident, IIRC Hines was critical of the way Ben acted when he was young and going through some of his problems.
