The only silver lining with the Brown debacle...

...is that Hines Ward will still hold all of the top receiving records for the Steelers.

 

The silver lining is that there should be no more preferential treatment of star players from this time forward. All rules apply with reasonable exceptions (i.e. emergencies, etc). One player has successfully ruined it for the rest of the platoon if Tomlin and team leaders know better.

 

I hope so.

 

Tomlin's history of correcting his mistakes isn't very good.

Amen! Amen! I say to you!!! I met Hines at SB this year. Very nice guy who took a pic with this ole grizzly Steeler fan. He has no idea how this coach really appreciates his time and kindness. Hines keeping the records just made my weekend....Hines for HOF!!! Classic leader as well, which we lack.

I am so disappointed with AB and LB...reminds me of some guys I played with in college. So much talent, but crappy attitudes cause by being a "burner".

I will always believe LB held out because he KNEW he wouldn't pass a drug test. AB isn't smart enough to figure out the LB and Deebo need guys in their club, so they don't feel alone in Pittsburgh.....if AB can't figure it out, then he is as dumber than I figured.

 

Yes, but the standard is the standard. I don't think he is capable and it would be so artificial to the players for him to all of a sudden change leadership styles. He could start by looking like a head football coach instead of one of the playes. JMO

 

I'm pretty much the only one in the world that thinks AB is coming back... yet I still think AB is coming back.

 

The biggest silver lining is that silverback james Harrison will be vindicated and people will realize that he spoke the 100% God's honest truth in his interviews
