There are three hypocycloids in the Steelers logo, and three rings in a three ring circus. Is this coincidence, kismet, or conspiracy theory?

Let's look at a few things:

    • Three hypocycloids, three rings.
    • If you turn the three hypocycloids inside-out they become three rings.
    • The Steelers logo was adopted by the Steelers 54 years ago, in 1954 there was a movie called Three Ring Rircus with Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis.

Here are some of the definitions of a three ring circus:

    • Something spectacular, tumultuous, entertaining, or full of confused action.
    • A public spectacle, especially one with little substance.
    • A situation characterized by confusing, engrossing, or amusing activity.
    • A situation of confusion, characterized by a bewildering variety of events or activities.
    • A performance given by a traveling company of acrobats, clowns, and trained animals.
    • A place with a lot of busy and confusing activity.
    • Something chaotic and disorderly
    I'm convinced!

I'm not trolling and it's certainly not about "look at me". It's an attempt to inject some humor or even open discussion into this board which is group "A" (fire Tomlin, trade Brown and Bell) and group "B" whining about group "A".

Well Stone, you had me at Kismet. You're probably feeling like a Stranger in Paradise about now. (That's a joke Son ;)). I think the "Watercooler" is the closest thing we have to a MENSA forum. I'll join you in the Descriptive Geometry thread where we can safely confer on the realm of hyperbolic paraboloids, ring vs particle theory and the 3 seashells mystery.

Is TTF experimenting with AI to create threads because this reads like a natural language program's attempted post?

I love my hat of the Steelers, circa 1961. It's a steelworker kicking a football while standing on a steel beam. It is not a strong looking emblem but cool looking.

Listen, and understand. That Heinz Mustard is out there. It can’t be bargained with. It can’t be reasoned with. It doesn’t feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are no longer a fan.
