I know who is on their defense, they still have a bad run defense though.

And for that reason alone, Barry Bonds should not get in the HOF this year or any year. Apparently, our much superior outfielder Van Slyke motioned to Bonds to move in just before that infamous play and Bonds flipped him off. As it played out, Bonds was too deep to throw out the "fleet-o-foot" Sid Bream at home on that soft dribbler to left.

Not speaking on regular season. They completely shut down Zeke and the saints running game. Their defense in the playoffs has been stout against the pass and run.

That backup linebacker's paycheck is the league minimum for a reason. The entire season was put in his hands and we saw the results, that can't be disputed (logically, anyway;+)).

True their coaching has been excellent and if they can run the ball they have a chance. Keep Brady away

The only thing Ford does well is run his mouth like a few people on this board. His IQ must be single digit. Just not very bright to screw up that bad and cost your team an opportunity to go to the SB.

What a lame take, who cares if his paycheck is the league minimum? That's basically what they ask of Matakevich is to be good on special teams, and he failed, he had one job to do .

Because the Colts gutted their roster after they fired their old terrible GM a few years ago. Nobody on the Colts makes big money, except for Luck and Hilton probably, that's why they have all that cap space.

We will find out how stout they are when they face the Pats, the Pats have been lighting teams up in the playoffs so far.

They have but so have the rams. They both made the key plays they needed to get where they are. This rams team remind me of the eagles team form last yr.

Because you SAID they have a qb on a rookie contract thus implying Pittsburgh doesn't have cap space because of having a qb with a big contract which is not why.

It is part of why. Didn't you bring up the Rams as an example of what the Steelers should do? The primary reason the Rams had the cap room to operate that way is because their quarterback is on a rookie contract. The Steelers have a lot more money tied up in that position.

But then I brought up how the colts have a qb making a lot of money but yet they have the most cap space.

And he answered you on that point, too. Your initial comparison was the Rams and that was clearly and correctly answered. When you shifted the argument, your new point was also clearly and correctly answered.

So who is making big money on thai team besides Ben? Ab is making good money but his contract doesn't compare to some of the current and PAST receivers. Only 19 million guaranteed for a player of his caliber? That was a slap in the face. And I also know a guy up in foxbourgh who for his entire career has took less. So who's to say Goff will try to break the bank? He may take a franchise friendly deal.

The argument can apply to anyone. No one team has a certain cap. The cap is LEAGUE WIDE. You can follow the suit of another team and vise versa. Dont say that's changing the argument as if the cap is mutually exclusive to certain teams. You can bring up anyone in regards to cap. Also if Pitt according to him has paid a lot of paid people then is he implying they have failed in terms of the roster?

Yeah, wish someone would slap me in the face like that. They also went on to make him the highest paid WR at the time as well. Those scoundrels!
