I'll take A. Reid with Mahomes, this kid is special. Reid will confuse the dark lord, something Tomlin only lucks into.

Fine but would it have been so hard to tell the truth and say we wanted to go in another direction instead of lying?

Quite possibly they offered him the option of saying he retired or was fired. Quite likely they were being courteous.

When asked Arians said that wasn't what happened. He said nothing about retiring. It was a cowardly lie.

What's to facepalm about it's true? Arians had to tell embarrassingly tell everybody that he wasn't retired. What most franchises do is say the coach resigned, there's a huge difference.

You mean like losing to the Patriots in playoff. Oh! Dah! The Steelers aren't in the playoffs.

He is in the playoffs. Are the Steelers in the playoffs? So Andy chokes like Tomlin ... he loses to the best team and organization in the NFL, the New England Patriots. The Super Bowl for the AFC goes through Foxborough. Bummer! But true.

Dude give it up, you started a thread to praise Reid, and he choked again.

Reid forgets more about football than Tomlin ever knew.

With that said can we pay Tony Romo $15 mil a year to be our HC or DC? That guy is a football genius

At least when he had a sb team in a great position Tomlin capitalized and won it all. Reid just probably squandered their best chance to win a superbowl.

I gave Reid the benefit of doubt. There is no more doubt. Neither MT or Reid can coach well enough to beat Belicheat. I hate Belicheat (he is obnoxious and he cheats), however he coaches during game time better than most if not all of his peers. Why is this? Use of time outs during a football game is not rocket science. I KNEW the moment Reid called a time out at the 1:22 mark in the first half that he had just given the Patriots a touch down. Third and four inside their thirty and the Pats were in no hurry to snap the ball. They probably get a first down and then take a shot or two. But no, Reid forces their hand. He thinks his team is going to get a stop, get the ball back and score. Conventional reasoning for average IQ football coaches. However, the Pats primary goal of not giving the ball back to KC changed at that moment. It then became their goal to score again before half. What a bozo. Kinda like MT saying we do what we do with absolutely no thought given to what the other team might do. Duh!

Not choked imo...Roughing the passer because they touched Bradys chest...Edelmans overruling when there wasn't video evidence to overrule...Marshas THIRD pick to again seal the game, only to have a neutral zone infraction...That's all Reids fault?

Yeah when these things happen to the Steelers and they lose, it's all Tomlin's fault .

Reid squandered it...the Edelman "fumble" the neutral zone infraction, the " touching " Marsha were all because Reid " squandered " C'mon! " Any " of those 3 ends the game...Typical Cheats BS...Reid had choked in the past...But no way you can blame it on him this year

I can blame Reid for not scoring any points at home in the first half though.

You can...But if you're gonna play that card, you have to give him the props card in the 2nd half...He made adjustments to give them the lead...Only to have the typical pre-determined Cheatriots bull**** to rear it's head...Chiefs had the game won 3 times ( the neutral zone wasn't the refs fault ) legitimate call, But the others were

I do. Bad clock management on that last drive before ne had 2 mins. Should have tried to kill the clock to not put your defense on the field against Brady in that situation. You dont have an elite defense like the eagles had last yr. And he played scared in this game. One of his proteges coached a far better game vs bill than he did. Chiefs should have kept pederson.

Reid will win a couple SB's with KC and Mahomes. I'd take him over Tomlin in a heartbeat.

They trashed a hot Colts team last week and would be on his way to the SB if not for a bs neutral zone infraction.

Kept that team together and winning after Hunt was cut. Imagine if that guy hadn't acted like a dirt bag.

Their defense is trash. They need to go full on rams on the defensive side and get some talent while mahomes is still on his rookie deal.
