If you have a 2nd team you semi root for who is it and why?

I guess he’s from NY. I can’t root for the giants I hate ny, actually I hate any state/city that is not Pittsburgh....

 

Yeah you have no idea how bad their fans are and living here in this part of NY I am surrounded by them. Man their SB years all I kept hearing was how much better Eli was then Ben. If Eli had a better game than Ben you can bet they would be lined up waiting for me Monday morning at work..........

 

The Steelers. Due to the Browns leaving. I tried to follow a couple of different teams, but I always went back to the Steelers. I always felt it was that close line between love and hate thing, but really they were the only ones I gave a hoot about.

 

Still, I was rooting for them pretty hard in a couple of Super Bowls!

 

Don't get me wrong at that point I was too but it is hard to like them when your surrounded by all their fans all the time......lol

 

This week? CHIEFS!!!!

 

Kinda like Eagles fans where I live.

I sorta like the Giants for Ernie Accorsi, their long time GM who lived nearby in Hershey. There's a very good book about him called, fittingly, "The GM".

 

I can understand that and for some reason we have lots of Eagle fans here as well, not as many as Giant fans but a lot.

 

Vikings. My wife is a Vikings fan so I can't help but pulling for them. It's always fun asking her about those Super Bowl rings though.

 

Steelers only. No second team, no semi-rooting for anyone, don't care what happens to anyone else.

 

I used to root for Crappy teams. First it was the buckd, then they won. Then it was the Seahawks, then they won. I would root for the browns but you know screw them. now I'm rooting for the chargers cuz I'd like to see Philip Rivers get a ring before he retires.
