IF we had Belechick all this time...Seriously, Can / could you see Ben throwing 5 yard crossing patterns every play...Then swing passes...Then runs...

Dink and dunk at it's finest...game after game, play after play...Plus, is Ben even smart enough to continually run this series after series...

I say no to everything above...For all those saying , If we had Belichick with our talent?

If we had Belichick with our talent minus Ben ( but * obviously a good, smart QB ) YES...

But history has shown us time and again, the Pats raise their game when they hit the playoffs. Regular-season matchup records aren't relevant in this instance.

 

They still have a below average defense that mahomes picked apart at NE for 40 points....

 

KC may very well score 40. But all NE needs is 41. And they proved yesterday that they can get there easily.

I hope they crash and burn. I just don't see it.

I don't like seeing the Pats win ever but I had to admire Edelman's play yesterday. His 'want-to' index was off the charts.

 

Cheats are done...Their D is garbage...Don't let that fake ass wannabe made up like they were good Charger frauds...Get in the way of that

 

I told my wife yesterday...our Superbow may be the first game next week (Saints/Rams) because if the Cheats win, we are NOT watching anymore football this year (for the third year in a row).

Nope. Patriots are not done... and their D is not garbage. Rivers and company were shut down by that "Garbage D" several times yesterday... enough to put the game out of reach by halftime. I hate the Patriots more than anybody on this forum, but I'm not delusional. Patriots will go to the Super Bowl, unless Chiefs bring their absolute A-game.

 

I think it's more sad. That the Steelers beat the Patriots, and lost to the Chiefs by 5, and almost beat the Saints (lost by 3)
3 teams playing in Championship conferences games this weekend.

 

I wish Sunday was here already, gonna be two good games. Hope they both come down to the final play of the game. Blow outs are boring as $hit.

 

The patriots are not a road team, they lost 5 away games this year, they just dont matchup well on the road, the colts had a better defense this year and the chiefs hung 30 on them, the patcheats dont match up well against the chiefs, chiefs win this game....

They get penalized on the road a lot more than at home, they had 12 penalties when we played them this year......

 

Man you are harshing the buzz of the "Pats only win becuz of the refs!" crowd. Like having the best coach and QB in the salary cap era has nothing to do with it.

 

It really does depend on the officiating. The Pats held Charger receivers ALL DAY LONG. It really does depend on the refs. KC will handily win this game IF it's an honestly officiated game.

 

They were mugging them but then had 2 drives extended on third downs that ended up being 14 points. Two BS penalties by the way......
