He’d be a bigger loss than any one player, honestly.

Maybe not, but look at that guy in New England. I can't remember his name because I frankly don't care about him, but I think he is the OC. The one who all but accepted a HC job then backed out and who now refuses to even interview for one. I think it is because he knows he can't succeed in an organization that doesn't cheat, but he could also be insane too. Who knows?

If he leaves in a lateral move, that would say a lot about the state of the Steelers.

Josh McDaniels you mean. Yeah I think he's mostly a fraud. He did say the only HC he would have pursued would have been the Packers. So he knows he needs a stellar QB to make him look good.

If Brown is one of the reasons that he would leave Pitts, and Denver trades for Brown first, that could block Munchak from wanting to go there. :) Kind of like Haley not wanting to go to Dallas cus of T O

I just read there might be a bidding war for Munch.

I think Steelers shouldn't break the bank to keep him, he is an excellent coach ... But we have a veteran group who has probably learned a lot from him, they have that knowledge, and the Assistant O-Line coach we have is a supposed to be a really good coach too. I'm fine with promoting him instead.

What the Steelers pay him has no effect on the cap, so I hope they do break the bank for him. He's that good.

Tomlin is like the civil service, in for life. There is a chance for upward mobility in Denver. Makes sense.

I like Munch too, but if they did pay him a dump-truck of money and give him more power ... there is going to be a power struggle on this team with the coaches. Right now we don't need that kind of drama.

Can't blame Munchak for taking a job with the Broncos.

This sucks so much. This team is a dumpster fire right now. lol Even if Munch has nothing to do with any internal conflict, it just sucks a lot

Not really when you consider the fact his daughter and grandchildren are in Denver.

Dang that sucks. Too bad he's leaving. But from what I understand he has family that lives in the Denver area.

Could make sense. He did a great job while he was here.

    Now who replaces him?
