Meanwhile the Colts and their rookie QB look much better than the Steelers

So far, yes. The Steelers look as disorganized as last year.

Not a BA fan and it is only pre-season. But we are losing after a 14-0 lead. Ridiculous. We also have trouble defending against the pick.

Defense doesnt look impressive at all. Are they still in 'relax mode' or is this a preview of the season?

Our starting defense looked good. I noticed we took them out quickly and thats when Luck started connecting. Against our starting D he looked like a rookie.

The first team has done well, people are jumping off bridges because the second and 3rd string units have been giving away the games. Theres a reason they aren't the starters. Also, don't know if anyone noticed but it's preseason, put the razor blades away.

Right. If the starters stay healthy there may be no worries. But these 2nd and 3rd units are the back ups when someone goes down. Not over reacted, they just seemed too relaxed for a Steeler defense. Maybe I m just nervous is all. Have high hopes for this year.

Everyone does realize that we are just evaluating talent in these 4 games right? The scoreboard doesnt really matter. Sure we like to win, but in the grand scheme of things we arent game planning, we are simply running vanilla type offenses and defenses to try and get a general idea as to who can play, who think on their feet and who is in the right position to make a play. Its the pre-season, good players will be cut that we wont agree with, bad players will make the team simply based on depth needs that we wont agree with, but once its all said and done, we will make another run at our 7th Lombardi!

It is true that these 2nd and 3rd units are the back ups, however, should they have to play during the regular season they are not going to completely rotate in all the 2nd and 3rd stringers but, rather, plug one in here and there for an injured guy. God forbid a whole defensive or offensive unit gets hurt!!!
