The league caught up to Jared Goff, Lamar Jackson should be an easier read.

Ben will be the best QB in the North next year.

Flacco is done in Baltimore, bank it. They are drinking the LJ Kool-Aid big time right now, and rightfully so for the moment. I don't believe he's going to be a huge impact player in years to come, but I'd love to see the Ravens throw away their franchise QB for a dream.

I remember a great game where we beat Houston 6-3. Smash mouth hard nosed defense. I loved it.

Flacco wasn't exactly setting the world on fire the last few years...That's exactly why they drafted one in the 1st round...Steeler fans were bitching that we took one in the 3rd!

Agree, but to listen to them you'd think Flacco was the next coming of Montana. So, yeah, I'd be ecstatic to see them toss him in the dumpster.

I think he’ll be figured out next year, but I think he’ll be the starter. I hope they do figure him out. He’s just a runner not a thrower. He’d be a good receiver.

Rightfully so. We need some horses on defense.

I wouldn’t say Flacco is a franchise QB would you? I think LJ will be figured out next year for sure, because he can’t throw from what we can see so far. Defenses ratchet things up in the playoffs. I can see the Chargers stacking the box, and making Jackson beat them from the pocket.

I'm not saying it... he is "their" franchise QB. Someone who has been there more than 3-4 years as the sole starter (with no real competition) that is expected to lead them into battle each week. So yes, he is a franchise QB in that sense. I'm not comparing his skill level to anyone.

I think the Chokers will have trouble in Baltimore.

That's what I've been saying - he's as good as gone. Flacco's hip injury aside, they are banking on LJ being the answer for seasons to come, only to have overlooked that this type of experiment has been played - and failed - in the past. All it's going to take is teams employing a full-time spy and leveling LJ 3-4 times a game before he starts getting jittery and making mistakes.

Flacco's contract is hurting the Rats. I think next year they will be able to unload him w/o too much of a hit.

I’d be all for taking CJ Mosley off the Ravens hands. I think he’s a pending UFA. Throw some of that Lev Bell money his way.

He will be the starter next year because they'll trade Flacco somewhere. So when Lamar gets figured out because he will or he goes down to injury for trying to be a running back the Ravens won't have anybody at QB.. That's why I think the division is regressing

    Cut him after June 1:
2019 cap hit of $8 million (But saves $18.5 million)
2020 cap hit of $7 million

    (Per Spotrac)

"Lamar will be figured out" .. He'll be hurt running .. bla bla bla .. Is this what we have been reduced to Steeler fans ? This rookie led his team to the division title and playoffs while we will be sitting at home watching with a qb who led the league in INTS !! Who do we have behind Ben ? My fear is Lamar will get better throwing the ball as he did in college. Browns have their guy. Who do we have ?

Watch if lamar improves with an entire offseason to work with the coaches and personell as the starting qb.. ozzie Newsome knows what he's doing. He didnt draft lamar in the 1st round to think he would just be a option qb his whole career...
