Wk 15....... the good, the bad and the ugly

The good:
1. Ben was lights out
2. AB had and AB game
3. Once we find a late rd replacement for Ridley, our rb stable will rival our wr's
4. TJ Watt was a monster
5. Boz turned back the clock to last season

The bad:
1. The final score
2. Once again, we beat ourselves.... there's no good reason we shouldn't be undefeated
3. Coaching decisions

The ugly:
1. It's hard enough to play the saints themselves.... when you have to play the refs as well you're seriously behind the 8 ball

 

Week 16, but yeah.

 

I'm so tired of referees that its not even funny.. When do they not ruin games

The good- Ben, ab, watt, bos

The bad- giving up 25 on a third and 20

The ugly- go to hell refs

 

The pass defense on 3rd and a mile is absolutely atrocious and has been all season.

 

Did u once think that on 3rd and 20 with 2 downs left that the saints weren't gonna pick it up? I sure as hell expected it. I expected they'd pick it up on 4th down not all on 3rd down tho

 

The good- Ben was magical


The bad - yet another letdown from timely turnovers and bad calls


The ugly- puking nonstop for 7 hours last night lol

 

Last I checked, our 16th game is next wk against the Bengals

 

Maybe game 16, but the game against the Saints was week 16. It’s that way on NFL.com and also on Steelers website. Even the predict the score threads here have the Saints game as week 16.

 

I was actually stupid enough to think we had a chance on 3rd and 20, but not in the slightest bit surprised when they picked up 25, I just sit there numb now, years ago I'd be up screaming at the TV..- wtf? how did that happen?

Now you just know what's coming.

 

As far as I'm concerned, if we've played 15 games, then it's week 15 for us.... I don't get caught up in semantics.... if you want to harp on the extra wk, then go to the general NFL thread where it is wk 16.. this is Steelers' talk

 

Yup.. How u could rely on the defense from years past now when u have to rely on the defense u know it's gonna be a bad outcome. .i still can't believe they stopped Brady at the end and If that was even real

 

Yeah, that was a massive shock, but Brady has fallen off and that's the worst Pats team in the TB/BB era, obviously playing in a division with three horrerendous teams every year means they don't get exposed often enough and waltz into a top spot every year. I want to see them destroyed in the playoffs, and I hate to say this, but the rats are the team to do it.

Knowing the pats are down pisses me off even more knowing this was the year to do it

Add to the bad........On a 3rd and 20 you give up a wide open receiver to gain 25 yards.

 

The Good - I was somewhat optimistic that Bud Dupree would finally shine against 3rd or 4th back ups and have a decent game.

The Bad - He didn't do anything. Yea. he touched the QB after he ran past him again and Watt and Heyward collapsed the pocket.

The Ugly - Watching Silverback ride the pine last season thinking that something would be an upgrade to the position.

Even uglier - Roger Gooddell controlling the refs in this league.

 

This is an excellent thread concept B&GP. I have been reading
it for some time now. Once in a while I reply. I'm passing
on this one but only because the outcome was so hard to take.

Hopefully, there are somehow several more threads left to
comment on this season.

BTW: Who is that pictured in the avatar. Looks like someone
I should recognize but don't.
