I must say ... I was very impressed with his commentating during the game. Very insightful and knowledgeable. He gave Ben his props and also called out the refs on some questionable calls. He mentioned that the saint's DT was wrong in his statement about Ben.

Romo is by far my favorite with Collinsworth a close second.

I liked hearing Tony congratulate nantz on his hall of Fame induction.. Something Tony won't ever sniff.. Watching Romo call championship games and being around Hall of famers must be tough for him lol

He's a former Cowgirl. Too many of them on the tv, Whitten, Homo, Akiman, Johnston. Enough of these pogues already. Of this bunch, Homo is the best.

As much as I couldn’t stand Romo as a player, I really think he’s one of the most over rated QB’s of all time.

He’s a heck of a great color announcer. Someone at CBS knew what they were doing. I like the pop culture humor he throws in, but he knows today’s nfl very knowledgeable.

A lot of people might have some disdain for his obvious enthusiasam on some players of some teams and how he details their tendencies but I have zero issue with him. He is a breath of fresh air and CBS are big winners for picking him up. Best color commentator in the NFL in my opinion.

I do like Romo as a commentator but every time he tries to make a point, it gets intercepted. :hehehe:

I enjoy Romo's insight and he has a good voice for the game. But, I wanted to crack his and Nantz's heads together yesterday. They both had a hard time hiding their bias towards the Aint's. I think they would have rather just handed them the Lombardi yesterday. How quickly everyone forgets about Bounty gate and the part that scumbag Sean Payton played in it. I really like Drew Brees, he's a class act. Always has been, but I hope they get crushed in the divisional round.

Collinsworth...Surely you jest...I like Romo, really praised AB up and down, and Ben...Some are mad because " they thought " he was blowing Brees...

What I have seen of him so far...He will reap praise, and give criticism...* See Tomlin a few times...If you guys are looking for an annoncer who only praises the Steelers, and says nothing nice about the opposing team...Tune in to Hillgrove...Or keep looking

When I first heard Romo announcing NFL games I thought he was boring to the core and perfect for the PGA. As the season rolled on he seemed to be better but you can clearly hear bias in his announcing. After JUJU's fumble I though he and Nantz had just climaxed together.

Don't like him. He just talks and talks and talks- loves the Ravens, hates the Steelers, never shuts up for a second. Never thought I would miss Phil Simms.
If he was good yesterday, then I missed it because I turned off the sound.

Good qb just choked in high leverage situations in the playoffs. Didn’t have a defense most times though

I like Romo, he is one of the better commentators. On the other hand, I have just suffered watching M. Irvin spout nonsense on a commercial, I have to turn the channel when he opens his piehole.

I kind of agree with you, but I still like Romo. Especially the tactical insights he brings.

For me, Jon Gruden was the absolute worst in the booth. Saccharine, never a bad or critical word about anyone/anything, and didn’t offer much that this casual viewer didn’t already know.
