Tone to move on. Every thing on the line tonight, and nothing! It's over! But remember, our coaching staff is awesome cause we hadnt jax a losing season so same thing next year!:facepalm:

Tomlin isn’t getting fired. Literally everyone knows that. But I can hope we pretty much can the whole defensive staff. I watch a lot of games and I never see near as many wide open guys in the middle of the field. Time and after time after time.

Draft pick should be what somewhere around 18-22 right? That isn’t super exciting.

But lets be honest. This team would make it super interesting in the playoffs but what happened today would have just happened next month.

Right about now I'm rooting for 2020 when this league ****s itself with a work stoppage

Something tells me you'd be over the limit right now if tested.

It is just really hard to watch blown coverage's or miss assignments at this point in the season. Another lost season due to poor coaching.

I thought that, too. But I used my Little Orphan Annie decoder ring to see what he meant, lol.

But on a serious note, As long as Tomlin is coach, I am done investing my hard earned money in the Steelers. Every year I spend money on going to a game in Pittsburgh or on the road , buying merch ( fatheads, jerseys, etc). But no more. As long as Tomlin is coach, I will not drop another dime in Pittsburgh or on the team, and any not televised games I will watch on a pirate stream. I know, blah, blah, blah, I am only one fan, it won’t matter, yada, yada, yada. Well, it matters to me. Will still love the Steelers, but will not contribute to this continuous mediocrity.

It was a shame we wasted one of Ben's best games, he was in a zone tonight.

you're welcome lewisha! i probably try to be funny more than necessary but this world is definitely lacking humor and it is important to laugh, especially the things that we cannot change.

What are the biggest needs on the draft board? Defensive secondary, LB? We still dont have Ben's replacement on the roster, IMO

If I’m AB and JuJu, I’m not signing another deal with this coaching staff in place.

I wouldn't give AB another deal anyway, he's on the wrong side of 30.

One thing that can't be disputed with the Pens is that they are very well coached. Sergei Gonchar and Jaques Martin are excellent at teaching technique and defensive strategy. And Mike Sullivan is a zero bullsh!t coach. But I digress......don't want to get hollered at again for talking about the Pens in the Steelers thread. ;)

Yeah, Tomlin's defensive draft history is very sketchy.

So I was watching the extra point and then I looked it up afterwards. But the Steelers can roll forward the Leveon Bell money to next years cap. I’m reading 18.5 mil of space. Now I know the Steelers don’t like to go sign big names in free agency, but it may be their only chance. Can’t draft and entire secondary and linebacking core in one or two years. I don’t know who’s available next year to be honest. But if someone is, they need to pull the trigger.

Our offense is decent. Not a lot of changes are needed except being prepared for injuries. A weak backup RB obviously hurt us this year, Colbert could have done more in that regard. I don’t understand why the TE seems to disappear in our offense at times? We get so enamored with the deep outside throw, the middle of the field gets forgotten about.

Defense is too frustrating to really comment on for me, I would love to upgrade every starter with the exception of Hayden, but obviously that is not possible. I just hope Colbert knows it’s not going to happen just through the draft if we want to win a SB before Ben retires.

Remember the good old days before 2012? When we actually had a good defense & made 2 SB appearances under Tomlin? Hmm... I wonder what happened & what our roster looked like... without AB & Bell?!?

The answer: We had great defensive players, until they retired. And our 6th SB victory was all about defense, while our 2011 appearance was a mix of both offense & defense, along with a young AB.

On an extra note, at least we still have a chance to make the playoffs, even if we have to root for the "so-called enemy"...
