I am not expecting too much being that it is JUST preseason football, but I still would like Dick LeBeau and our defense unkindly welcome Andrew luck to the NFL next week. He is getting so much after one preseason game. What do you expect from our defense, if anything?

We tend to make rookie QB's look good at times, because they dink and dunk our over aggressive defense a lot. Or, we make them look really bad. There is no in between with us. We'll see either Joe Montana, or Ryan Leaf.
I for one, was really impressed with his play. He looked pretty confident in the pocket and his awareness was there. I was shocked, to say the least.

I don't expect much of a welcome at all. If it was regular season and he was playing the whole game and so were our starters, that might be different.

We do have a secret weapon in that Bruce Arians will be calling the plays for Andrew Luck! Therefore, I hope we are practicing for the bubble screens.

Or...... He knows us all too well and makes our D look like fools with that bubble screen. ;) Anyway, it is only preseason, so not much to worry about. All of our starters are pretty well established, while their's are not. So, they will be playing their butts off and we'll just play it safe.

Being preseason and all, I wouldn't expect too much in the way of a welcome. It won't be a meaningful embrace, but it won't likely be a flat out cold shoulder either. Probably somewhere in the realm of a courteous fist bump.

Oh, and it won't be the first time BA's dialed up that play against a zone blitz, and it likely won't be the last. ;-)

from what i've read, the colts oline seems to be pretty terrible, so i guess the defense will have some fun racing each other to Luck :D

Its preseason people, the Steelers could care less about these games
its all about getting ready for the real season and #18 in Denver,
I wonder if they have started game planning for him yet? Getting back to the original
post I hope that DL will change his philosophy and go back to attacking teams.
Of course you have to have the talent to do this? I am really looking forward to
see Cam Heyward/ Ziggy Hood in some extensive action. One of these two guys
really need to step up this year!

This is strangely poetic. And likely true.

Arians might want to stick it to us because of what happened to him. However, I don't see us worrying to much about what they do. In the regular season, I don't see the Colts doing much. I do hope we see the Bubble Screen!

They'll make him look like his dad, Oliver, when he played for the Oilers all those years ago.

they will treat him harshly. maybe pick off a bubble screen. intercept a deep one. sack him 45 times. fart in his face in the pile. none of it will be fun for him.
