I was gonna come here and post this. I didn't read it on NFL.COM so I didn't know that it was for buying condoms! I just knew that he headbutted her! I always liked him even when he played in cincy just because I was entertained by him but to physically assault a woman goes WAY over the line and I hope he pays dearly for this.

Isnt his new wife on Basketball Wives? Maybe part of the publicity for their reality show. Lets face it, Chad hasnt exactly been wowing on the field lately. He needs to get in the spotlight somehow. I absolutely do not condone knocking women around. He is a punk for that and needs his azz kicked.

If anyone's interested you can listen to the 911 call at NFL.COM. You can hear her in the background saying "he head butted me" and her neighbor tells the operator that she's "gonna need stitches". Man I'd say he's screwed for this one.

He not only got fired from the dolphins likely ending his NFL career, his new reality show with his now battered wife, was cancelled. Talk about an expensive dumb a$$ mistake that argument was!

What a sad waste of talent.

The guy was damn good and had such a bright career ahead of him.

But he was too much of a clown and now its all gone. The guy is finished. He's not a bad guy, just a total clown. For his sake, I'd like to think that he'd get some sort of middle income insurance salesman job like Tommy Maddox, but I think he's too stupid and too much of a goof ball to handle that. He'll be dirt poor and living in the 'hood within 10 years. Book it.

Really? What the hell would you think she'd say to someone else? "I headbutted him!"? No one is going to admit being the one at fault in that situation.

    Waste of talent?

In Cincy he had one good route. Run down by the chevy and turn around. Pat's* didn't keep him cause he couldn't learn the playbook
I'm wondering if he doesn't read real well. I teach college now. In the past 8 years I have had two student's show up who couldn't read. Both their main instructors ask me to over look their reading. I said I can't. I teach Microsoft Office. You can't take it without reading.

It's call PELL GRANTS. I know two women who had 8 degrees each when I was in school. This is a community college btw. That was 2002 and they are not only still there collecting $8,000 a year but they now have their mother attending on a pell grant.
Students get pell to go to school, the school gets $5,000 of that money or close to it. Called job security.
I also have a Friend at NC state and they have people who show up and can't read. Some of them are football players.
    More common than you think

That's just hard to wrap my mind around, CS. Don't they have placement tests in community college?

I saw Chad Johnson get cut last night on Hard Knocks. I must say, I'm a little more... 'to the point' than Joe Philbin. Ocho might want to go back and give soccer another shot.

Nice goin' Chad! Get released by a legitimate team, Marry some reality bimbo, buy condoms by the box and leave the receipt in your car, head-butt your new wife, go to jail, get cut by your new team, lose your upcoming T.V. gig and now, your head-butted wife has filed for divorce. The only way it could be better is if it would have happened to Terrell Owens! You can take the guy out of the Bengals but................ :smashbungles:

Doesn't the Pell Grants mean that tax payers are picking up the tab on these folks? It's really just amazing to me no matter what that an adult in this country can NOT be able to read. My papaw couldn't read but he grew up in the depression era before kids were made to go to school. But in this day and age it's just incredible to me that a person could be illiterate. But I do go to church with a lot of teachers and my wife's family has a lot of educators and they are always talking about how most kids today are "behind" in their learning. Like most 8th graders read on a 5th grade level and stuff like that. But still they CAN read SOMETHING.

Yes the pell grant is picked up by tax payers. You guys check around your community colleges up there. You find many 40 to 70 year old people drawing pell. Keep in mind Pell is $8,000 a year now if you are "full time" Student's words. The schools will help people apply for pell, why? The school keeps enough student's to save a job. I only teach online now. One class a semester. Just enough for my lottery money.

TTF Yes they have placement tests. I have no Idea how those two slipped by.
Also my Brother outlaw My age. I am over 59 btw. Turned down a foreman’s job with DOT because he knew he couldn't read to do his reports. I had no idea he couldn't read till I ask him if he was nuts turning down a foreman’s job. His answer was I can’t read.
