If they lose tomorrow that’s going to be the season. Would have to rely on Cleveland on the road. Ravens would not lose that game with the division title on the line.

If the Steelers beat the saints tomrw they deserve to be in. If they lose they Deserve to sit on the couch and watch like the rest of us for not being able to beat the sorry ass raiders and not be able to hold a 16 point halftime lead at home against sorry ass Philip Rivers.. Tomlin deserves non stop criticism all off season if he misses the playoffs with this team

The Steelers do not need help to get the 4th seed. The Steelers control their own destiny. If they win their last two games they are the division winner. They would need help to move up to the number 3 seed though

If the Ravens win out, they can be no worse than the 6 seed.

    Yup.

If the Steelers miss the playoffs - Tomlin deserves a ton of heat (maybe even to be fired), Ben deserves a ton of heat and Boswell deserves to be cut and Butler to be fired.

Steelers should not have lost to Denver (that one is on Ben), Oakland (Tomlin, Ben and Boswell), SD (Tomlin, Boswell) or Cleveland (Ben and Boswell). The Steelers should be 12-2 (you could argue 11-3 since they stole the Jacksonville game late) and competing for the 1 seed (and probably should be no worse than the 2 seed).

Now they're hanging on for dear life for the 4 seed and unless 1 of the following 3 things happen

    1. Steelers beat Saints
    2. Giants beat Colts and then Colts beat Titans
    3. Browns beat Ravens

the Steelers are going home, which is disgusting with the talent this team has.

    Say We lose tomorrow.

Hope The Giants upsets the Colts in the early game. It’s the only other game that matters.

Two scenarios would get them in the playoffs.

Beat Bangles And hope either 1 of 2 happens.

Browns beat Ravens or Colts beat Titans.

The Jags and Denver games pretty much cancel each other out since they should have lost to the Jags but should have beaten Denver. but Tomlin Ben and bos def pissed away the Oakland game, I blame the refs mainly for the chargers game and bos and Conner unfortunately blew the browns game week one. But this team should be at no worse than 10-4 right now. And this is prob the best chance they had at making a run this year with kc being the 1 seed and the Texans being the 2 seed and the pats being down.. If they miss the playoffs that's gonna be what pisses me off even more the fact they blew so many games to put themselves in this position and the easier bracket in the AFC this year

They also get in if the colts titans game ends in a tie as well if Indy loses tomorrow to the Giants which is probably not gonna happen. Not a good scenario for the Steelers. But they made their bed after being 7-2-1 now they have to lay in it.

The playoffs basically started last week for us when we beat the Pats. Now it’s the Saints! It won’t be easy but we still control how far we go without depending on anyone else. The Steelers have to win and not depend on the Browns beating the ratbirds!

Yup - and the Patriots despite being down will moonwalk to the AFC title game (and if KC chokes, it will be in Foxborough).

The Saints are better than the Pats - the game is in New Orleans. The Steelers haven't played a good and complete road game all year - they're not winning tomorrow. I plan on taking the money won on the Ravens tonight and drop it on New Orleans.

Yup.. If they have to go to arrowhead they won't win but I can easily see kc and the Texans losing in the divisional round to give the pats another AFC Championship game at home.. Makes me f****** sick

Lets be honest here. The Steelers are in the position their in now because of their pathetic performances in the three games before the Pats game. They should be 11-2-1 now. Hoping that they righted the ship, If they can't beat the Saints, they deserve to sit home on the couch and watch the "good" teams play in the playoff's. Another disappointing season down the tubes.

Anyway you slice it this is the absolute nightmare scenario the Steelers wanted to avoid when you saw that this was possible a few weeks ago where they HAD to win this game in New Orleans. I didn’t think it was going to happen looking at the extremely heavy odds of both the Steelers losing in Oakland and the Ravens odds of winning in LA against the Chargers. Like I was saying in another thread last night you can’t be 7-2-1 and miss the playoffs that’s a complete collapse as far as I’m concerned and heads need to roll if I’m Art Rooney and it happens. All I’m going to say is Tomlin better hope Ben plays his ass off today and wills the Steelers to victory.

Yea all 3 of those scenarios there are just not good no matter what kind of positive spin you try to put on it. You still need to throw in the Steelers beating the Bengals next week which should happen you would think.I mean anything is possible but the odds are not good at all that any of those 3 scenarios above actually realistically happens. I can’t wait to hear Tomlin and his thoughts on not controlling his own destiny if they lose today in New Orleans. What kind of stupid crap will he spew out of his mouth.

They had an easy road. Beat Denver, fail. Beat Jokeland, fail. Beat LA, fail. Then all was rosey as they FINALLY beat the cheats. Was this their Super Bowl? Really it was just another must win game to keep slim playoff hopes alive.

Scenarios are a joke. Before the crows won that game last night I said they needed to win both against Orleans and the bungles. And this remains.

Funny how they won against the cheats running the football and smothering defense. Unlike the 3 previous contests. Guess we will see what team shows up today.

But take comfort in the fact if they lose in Orleans and even against the bungles that Tomlin will not have a losing season. Your welcome.
