Oh I agree. Big ben was a far more consistent qb in his career. Just saying I got much love for eli for beating the Pats twice.

I mean Brady got away with some lucky ones too. The tuck rule, the idiot panther kicker, seahawks, Edelman catch. You sometimes need a little luck to win the sb. Eli did still on that drive then threw the game winning td to plaxico. That Tyree play was a prayer but at the end of the day I can't take away a win. And hell no I dont think hes better than ben. But eli is a hall of Famer. Isnt like hall of fame shouldn't be associated with his name hes probably a top 5 playoff qb of all time. Rivers though imo is not a hall of Famer. He's in the hall of very good but that's just me. And thinking about the top 5 of this era it actually is close. I'd put ben at 5 I think Rodgers, peyton manning, brady, and brees were better.

Wow, I heard about this today!

Bulletin Board material at its finest! Steelers needed this ammo going in. I think we have a shot at this game now!

The last part about Eli being better just blew up his own argument as totally foolish.

Donovan McNabb didn't know that there was overtime in the NFL proving that knowledge of football isn't exactly a prerequisite for being a player in the NFL.

We know better than anyone that Ben can be pure magic on his day or can play full on kamakazee. Far from perfect but we’re lucky to have had a top QB for the last 15 years.

Love the "Kamakazee" description of Ben. Sounds about right. At this point of his career I say Ben, I love you as many times as I say Ben just retire during a game.

Cam Jordon may have intentionally poked Ben in the eye....trying to get him to play with that chip on his shoulder and throw a few interceptions !!!!!!!!

I will give Eli credit for his accomplishments. But he is no where near the talent level that Ben is. These last few years especially, Im not even sure you could put Eli in the top 20.

Eli is living off those 2 games, hasn't done anything since. His stats in those games weren't all that eyepopping either IIRC.

Beating the Pats is easy...when they don't cheat :D

On topic: Ben has to be ahead of Rivers at least. I love when players give opinions on other players and they are so way off it's like they've never watched them play.

I’m not lovin’ it. I’d rather let Jordan’s trash talk hang in the air to motivate us and put pressure on him/them.

I am hoping the fact that Heyward responded, means that the defense took notice of the comment, and is also fired up going into the game. A fired up Ben, and a fired up Heyward is a good thing going into tomorrow.

If our team needs this kind of BS to fire us up, then we're already in big trouble. This ain't high school or college.

All deference to Chuck Noll, but I think there is a place for providing motivation. Anyone who’s familiar with working well under pressure recognizes that, even for very good employees, that external factor can bring out their best.

It’s not like these guys are starting at Apathy. They’re already highly motivated, but proper coaching nonetheless can elevate them to ultra-motivated.

These are human beings. To think certain things don’t give you more fire or passion is incorrect.

When i first heard Jordan say this, my first thought was Jordan was baiting Ben into throw some bad passes= in turnovers .. but i think we will win by at least 6 points
