Instead of changing the name of the board, why not post good luck on the chargers message board. I think the Ravens win their next two games. I hope we can match them...

Agree. This team really can't afford to overlook anyone.

About the only thing I can stomach about the Chargers is their lightning bolt symbol. Other than that, no I cannot get on board cheering for them.

Agreed the Steelers season comes down to Saturday night. We are not beating New Orleans but we are also not losing at home to Cincy. Either Tennessee or Indy are going 10-6 so this Ravens game is the season

What I want to see, the remainder of the year, is a team who plays every game they play as if it's the final game of the season. Stop looking ahead. Stop being cute. Every game the rest of the way should be a one game season.

How soon we all forget that the Steelers just dropped a game because Coach thought we could win a game without Ben. Forget all the x-ray machine spin. Tomlin thought he could beat the Raiders without Ben, so that Ben could be healthy for the "harder" games vs the Pats and Saints. Had he not done this we wouldn't have to be worried about rooting for the Chargers right now.

When we play the Bengals I am not worried at all about protecting players. Play to win the game. Game plan to win the game. If someone gets hurt, such is life. We protected our players before the playoff game last year and they ended up looking like they forgot how to play football for a quarter and a half. Just play to win and lets the chips fall where they may.

Thanks man. I had to change it up. The legal fees from the copyright infringement case @86WardsWay@86WardsWay brought against me, over my last avatar, were killing me. :lolol: That and I thought it was time for KG to get a little love.

I see your point and that is fine I do not feel that way. Chargers win and we win the Bungal game will have very little meaning unless it is about the 3 or 4 seed. Let me say a few things about your thinking, you are right that we tried to win without Ben. But you know what we should have been able to, the Raiders stink and the last time I checked Ben don't play defense. We had the lead VS A CRAPPY TEAM and the defense couldn't hold on. Ben came back in bailed us out and bam the defense gives in again. I respect Tomlins thinking(man did I just type that) and if we can't win vs these crap teams we are in trouble.

I don't have enough time to go way back and look at the thread when we played the Clowns a few years back and Ben got hurt in a meaningless game but I am pretty sure I remember many....MANY here complaining about the decision to play Ben and him getting hurt. Yeah injuries are part of the game but it has happened way to much to this team right before the playoffs.

You want to play guys so they aren't rusty how about our guys get their big boy pants on and being able to have a half game off without forgetting how to play football???? JMO

Browns are gonna beat the Ravens in week 17. I don't see the Ravens beating the Chargers in LA. If it was in Baltimore.... maybe.

After being on this board for a few years, I think an accurate name for this board would be "WE HATE THE STEELERS! ESPECIALLY THE COACHES!"

Close game last time. Apparently the Ravens eats young QBs for breakfast

Agreed about the Chargers, but as Rivers as one of my fantasy QBs I've been debating on whether to put him on the bench or not promoting Russell Wilson. Ahhh decisions lol

Many many moons ago we needed a team called the Houston Oilers (now the Titans) to win in week 16 or we would not have made the playoffs. Thankfully they did and Bradshaw and company sent them luggage as a thank you. We went on to win the Super Bowl. Without help from another team we'd have one less ring.

We will have to agree to disagree on this one. One of my biggest problems with Tomlin is that for a guy who speaks of being singularly focused and not living in his fears, he sure doesn't practice what he preaches. Looking ahead and getting cute with the roster trying to avoid injuries is a sure fire recipe for failure. Losing momentum as a team has nothing to do with Big Boy Pants. It has to do with sitting idle while your opponent is busting their tail off, clawing and scratching to win games. Complacency is hard to avoid, especially on this team. None of this matters unless we beat the Saints. That is a tough task.
