Ha, I was thinking something similar during the game.

It's a nice little slice of life. Here we are for the past few weeks, trashing MT (I'm guilty too) and wanting major change - when in fact we're a bit spoiled by regular-season success. And come to find out the most successful franchise in the past 17 years is going through the same thing and wants their two saviors run out of town.

    Fans are fans.

Reading their absurd, spoiled rants put things into a bit better perspective. Fans of teams who have been perennial bottom feeders look at us that way when we ***** and moan about missing out on a bye.

I’ll still complain, especially if we screw this up and fail to win the division, but I do know that - as a Steelers fan - I have it better than most.

The Pats fans are probably roasting Belichick, right now. I've seen it happen before. Those fans are about as spoiled as we are.

We will be better if the starters play. We play like crap after bye weeks and breaks.

This. As much as I hate to tempt fate with injuries, I say we just keep the foot on the throttle as far as this heap will take us.

Really depends on the health of each player. Conner could obviously use the rest. Ben, who suffers the most from extended breaks, supposedly has some painful muscle injury in his back. Trying to play QB with a back injury is about the worst thing they can experience.

So do you let him heal or play him anyway? 6 of one, half dozen of the other.

Connor, I think, can be rested more now that Samuels has (at least in 1 game against a quality opponent) proven a capable backup.

With Ben - that's a tough one. Assuming we beat the Saints and we rest him for the Bengals - how bad is he going to be coming out in week 1 of the playoffs? I think we know the answer - usually not good. In fact, quite bad. Can we afford *not* to play him?
